Nor can they make a cat lol pet OR mounts (aside from their sench or lion tiger etc. I'm talking about the really funny looking mounts that are cats that have huge eyes --just odd looking) but the pet cats 😂 they look like they have humps on their back the way they sit and their faces.... man... lol 😂
I like videos like this. I was like "ahh, another cool mount" not realizing it's a copy paste of hard earned mounts - because, obviously I've not gotten the hard earned version. I'd say it definitely does take away from the value of the initial mount.
They should definitely be a bit more degrees of separation
They may look the same but the differences are plenty enough to know which one came from trial and which one came from event tickets. I don't understand the complaint here

Tbh all the mounts and even some of the motifs are just re-skins or exactly the same just different colours it's getting pretty stupid expecting us to cough up real money for a quick gamble on what re-skin we going to get 😆 🤣 😂
Yeah I’m glad this one won’t cost money , also I find some of the super flashy mounts a little too much if they have a huge mount animation
I bought the shackled titan with seals. It's the last, best looking mount I'll ever need.
Awesome mount ! My last save up of endeavours I got the voidmothers welma which is one of my favourite mounts but is a tad flashy on the animations, I prefer this one overall
In cyro you want the least flashy mount. The flashy mounts effects can be seen far on the horizon when ur character model has already disappeared.
All those flashy effects are only visible by your own faction.
I have noticed this they do give away position , I’m sure I’ve seen another fraction with big animation mount
As a solo player since beta, I am happy for the new mount. As I was happy and still is with my most used Striped Senche-Tiger, which I got 9 years ago for my "loyalty" as a sub. (Which is plain af, but you will never have it if you are a newer player btw.)
I could not care less if a so called "high end player" has a similarly shiny mount as the new event mount. If you played for yours, you enjoyed the process, and you enjoyed and will proudly enjoy your reward mount in the future. It won't become uglier with time, as you won't become more worthy or special, just because you made every f*cking achievement in a trial. You will still be a player like anyone else.
And you also will have the opportunity to get this blue one.
Those who think otherwise are just jealous cunts imho.
Yeah there are pros and cons to whichever way zos goes about it I guess hopefully more earnable rewards will be added to balance this out
Aside from the ice-fire kitty mount. Im not really impressed with the 1% mount collectables.
Heck i wish i got the Gryphon of Elements when it was available. Just bad Crown RnG and definitely not enough gems to purchase at the time.

Zos went too far when the openly admitted that they care more about their stupid micro transactions, than their players
They should of kept heavyweight mounts as end game hardcore achievement mounts to allow some separation from the others
Stupid micro transactions keeps the server going....just saying.
I have played almost every MMO on pc and console, trust me we don't get to complain about micro transactions regarding this game.
Can't get the orange/red one without doing the achievement so all the elite players who can get that achievement still get bragging rights for how special & better they are & other players still can't that exact mount if they can't do the achievement.
Sure they're similar but why cant players who can't do trials let alone hard to get achievements have nice things too?
Yeah there is still a line of separation no matter how close the actual mount in comparison is, having said that how close u can get without overstepping the line is a matter of opinion

Yeah in general as u said is more the mounts are far too similar to hardcore ones , granted make mounts for everyone to obtain but make them visually different,
For example I feel the heavyweight mounts should have been left for hard earned achievements only allowing a sense of separation from event mounts or crown ones
