Dark Matter is a sci-fi thriller series based on the blockbuster book by acclaimed, bestselling author Blake Crouch. The nine-episode series features an ensemble cast that includes Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley.
Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels of the decade, Dark Matter is a story about the road not taken. The series will follow Jason Dessen (played by Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who - one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago - is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.
Crouch serves as executive producer, showrunner, and writer alongside executive producers Matt Tolmach and David Manpearl for Matt Tolmach Productions, and Joel Edgerton. Dark Matter is produced for Apple TV+ by Sony Pictures Television.

This scene reminds me of how Schroedinger's Cat was used in Dark's final season, to explain something that happened earlier in the season, and foreshadowed a huge reveal in the series finale.

People who actually majors in physics will be more passionate in real than what is being portrayed here, physics is a very rigorous and unique subject that you can only succeed in with great convictions and passions

its incredible how they take something that is an absurd metaphor, basically a joke , and present it literal every time

This show is excellent. This is a terrible clip to feature it (although, if you watch the series, it’s clear why this scene is so important).

In the UK we don't have bells to signal the end of the lesson - the teacher tells the class when the lesson ends - so he would have noticed the time and and probably used two mins after teh class was meant to end - kids lose 2 mins boohoo
US universities don’t have bells aswell. I was kinda confused about this.

Can you fix the sound for this show?? This is horrible! I can barely understand what they’re saying without turning the volume way up…then the music and other aspects are way too loud!!! Constantly going up and down on the volume

TV show is good. The plot basically is the protagonist shifted into another parallel universe were he is far more successful but not with his wife and kid.
