    Keep `em coming!
You can't let those guitar and keyboard hacks have all the fun! 😀

As a guitarist and drummer I agreed with this message 🔥

I got my first kit in 2004, it was a Mapex V series with Sabian Solar cymbals (16" crash, 20" ride and 14" Hats). The cymbals were alright, they were brass but they were usable to a beginner. I would say Meinl HCS level maybe. The drums I still own and I build a Pearl Midtwon clone from it. They still deliver a nice tone with good heads and they are my gig kit for small venues. Beginner kits are often very capable, the drummer is the most influential part on the sound after all. Its the archer, not the arrow!

"I would Gig it." inspired a segment idea - 'Gig it or Frig it.' Get a 3rd player, all 3 of you play freestyle for 3 ~ 5 minutes, one after another, and then each vote 'Gig It!' or 'Frig It!'...

Is the kick 18? Because most of the roadshow juniors come with a 16 inch kick
