The Pearl Roadshow Drum Set is an entry level drum set, but in my opinion, it doesn’t sound that way. If you tune it carefully and add a few inexpensive accessories, it sounds great. Plus, it’s made by Pearl - a top drum manufacturer that you can trust. All of the hardware is very sturdy and the set is also quite stylish. If I had to nit pick, the cymbal are ok to start out with, but if you want a great cymbal sound, you will need to replace them. I like my cymbals to have more sizzle. Also, the drum heads that come with the kit (and most kits for that matter) are not great. You should upgrade them when you have the chance for better sound control. That being said, this kit is an incredible value and I think it will put a great big smile on your face whether you are new to drumming or getting back into it!

Its ideal either for beginners or the experienced players that need a budget.Needs a lot of tunning at first with heads and cymbal replacements.Goid enough for pubs,funtions and open mike nights.
Amazon sent me one of 2 boxes yesterday. Never played drums in my life and know absolutely nothing about them. I at least got the snare together on this video. Pumped to get the rest.

Gives the detail you need to complete the assembly. Did not match my drum set in all details, but where it did match, the detail was great.
Nice video, wish you would have included the snare tension knob. Counterclockwise to tighten or clockwise to loosen?

I'm getting this so i can have a compact kit to play because it's hard sometimes trying to take a big kit.
I just got the fusion kit. Do the drums that come pre-installed need to be re done or the heads seated still? I know they probably need tuned but should i redo them completely?

I don’t feel like the floor tom is deep enough and isn’t loud. Is this true? I was trying to decide between this one and the roadshow 5 piece. I was interested in this one because it’s cheaper but the floor tom on the 5 piece is deeper. Which should I get?
I got the small kit to save space and make it easy to transport. If you look at the other kits, some of them have bigger sized drums that may give you the sound you are looking for. I think it depends on the type of music you play and how much space you have and if you want to transport the drums anywhere.

Not sure. Although most drum sets are very similar if not exact - even from different manufacturers.

This drum set is small? Right? Looks for children, or it is just me? I was thinking getting one on Amazon
As a jazz kit, it’s smaller than a rock kit, but it’s not a children’s set. I like it because it’s easy to move and doesn’t take up a lot of space.
