Will you do the same tests but change zhen to his march and put crimson on your march . Run all the same heros you are both using just change zhen and crimson

For the future, in my opinion it would be better if you did 5 attacks using Layla/crim/stromoy then swapped and did 5 attacks with duke/zhen/po… or just Layla/zhen/stromoy. Personally, I’m not a fan of doing 10 attacks with you using heroes and someone else using heroes, I like to think it removes some of the variability and you can just focus on comparing YOUR results between the two options. Thank you for these vids, very good info. I'm navy main Layla, Strom/Gipsy, Crimson all 5*5. I notice that in recent vids you speak of hero damage vs reg attack damage. I've tried different hero orders and swapping Gipsy an Strom. My question is...what is the main reason in the difference. Mines is 1:1 and sometimes lower

I think there are many navy main players wich have the pacific rim heroes, but not old enought to have layla, since she's around one year old. So they (like me also) use gipsy crimson striker for navy. I would like to see this formation against zhen replacing crimson, but from no EX skill, since gipsy benefit more than PO from vulnerable units, since from my perspective the key difference between them is heavy armour vs vulnerable from no EX perspective
Hey Timmy, Your testing is amazing! always a MUST WATCH! May share a thought or two... I feel this test had a lot of moving parts. In the development (and testing/debugging) world, we try to keep variables to a minimum while tracing an issue. I think that same thing works with testing TW. ☺ I think an identical lineup, but swapping Zhen for Crimson might be interesting, not asking for me... more talking at a meta meta level with the limited tests you are able to run. At this point , I’m trying to convince the devs to totally rework the Arena :
All players must have access , in the arena , to ALL heroes with lvl 5 and lvl 7 .
Also being able to set mirror matches
The identical lineup setup was already posted before this video👀. And zhen struggled a bit, but the main reason is the fact that stromoi take advantage of crimson's heavy armour and do huge damage because of that, meaning you lose 50% dmg inc from silent precision, since every dmg reduction shield increase dmg with 25%
@t-me8295 could a "build" consisting of Layla Zen and Crimson be the best possible at the moment? even if without an offensive hero 🤔
because I was thinking about the fact that Layla and Stromoy apply att debuff and vulnerability respectively, Crimson would thus have increased damage even if he would lose a bit of the usefulness of the heavy armor without Stromoy so... could you please test it out for us?🥺

That’s exactly what we will test tomorrow. It’s super important to see what the battle reports looks like. From the numbers perspective: yes : ZHEN + crimson ‘ s enhancement should be at least as good as Layla’s (Duke) indestructible
So I would end up with Stromroy, Crimson and Zhen . Thank you.

Hi timmy, actual meta navy layla/crimson/stromoy is about shield and synergies.
The more navy slot you have the more efficient it is. ( remember i suggested you to take out encirclement on that case)
So ,as zhen have no shield nor any kind of def, testing like this will help stromoy ans crimson to shine.
I really dont think zhen is worth except for new server wich cant have meta hero.
Stick (or try) crimson/layla/stromoy ( in that order) and HT gale slot 8, no encirclement...best imo.
Bob will suggest duke mapple stromoy. ( and sassanian chip ...)

Not much is known anyways to make a difference. Like you see the perfect example: Duke is a hero with indestructible, but the 2nd part of the hero design, they didn’t listen = the weakest of the all. (Hit the back rows )
Important details change up to 1 week before release .
Will encirclement help the Duke+Zhen+Po team?
Why did you change the order of Layla and Crimson? Is it better to have Layla on the right side and crimson in the center? I also think it would be good if you also did one or two battles with the same heroes to compare the difference in the reports with a mirror formation and then the new formation.

Question for you: Why does River Game keep repeating events that are across all servers, particularly the alliance honour matches.
Each and every time it’s the same 10 people collecting the top rewards in every single cross game event.
There is no way any non-whale player has a chance to win or get a decent reward. Most of the common servers have no chance to compete. It feels to me that these events are set up to appease the top spenders and to encourage them to keep spending.
Why can’t they create a tiered system that allows players of the same cp to fight against those of the same level. 40-45cp, 45-50, 50-55, etc. I believe that would create a better overall feeling of equality and fairness. A guy with 55cp vs a guy w/100 has no chance to compete. So why would people invest in their game knowing that the top lvl player invested the player monthly budget in one day.
Any way you could put the idea into a few developers head. If I know I can win a bigger prize from an extra $100 investment on a monthly basis, I will spend the money. But if I spend that money to complete against the guy spending $100 a day, know this I won’t be spending anything more than the basic amounts.

I am really wondering if I should unlock this hero. I have Crimson, but even more another thing goes through my mind: I am a mid spender, but need to select in which hero to invest. Why should I invest into a navy (or army or planes) specific hero? I have invested in Shinji, Gypsy, Asuka, Po… I can build a super strong March with universal heroes and once I build up additional universal heroes I can use the other ones to build the second unit type March and then the third etc. It sounds to me that I better invest my gems in universal hero charts and not into unlocking Zhen… Opinions?
T-me, i think minimal or no extras 1vs1 is the only real way to test new heroes. eg zhen vs crimson, nothing else.

ABSOLUTELY NOT ..except you insist to have worse performance. Look at the battle reports. It was always like this : Duke is the weakest indestructible hero we have .

There actually 7 heroes. Left to right - Tigress (female), Viper (female), Panda, Mantas, Silver Fox (female), Monkey & Crane.
I've read you wanna test the Crimson + Zhen march and like we don't have enough tests in Arena don't waste them I did that test already !

1. Crimson’s HP buff is only for navi ..but his active skill is universal .

I am over simplifying this and i appreciate I am purposely missing things out, however could Stromoy be one of the key factors here her silence and strengthing buff are great. I started playing after Evangelion and Pacific rim so my first proper collab was GI JOE. I feel I have went too deep down the Navy route to change at this stage, and my march is Duke, Stromoy (coined Stromoy) and just got Po and Zhen. I am seeing considerable improvement using Zhen with Duke and Stromoy, mainly due to the increased abnormal states they cause the enemy and Stromoy using her silence. I have however not worked enough on my Po to compare. 1 note on Navy, i feel the disadvantages you have at start are offset by the supression you have on army. Seeing as most servers are predominantly Army. I do understand that this will get lost further down the line, however further down the line you will also be more experienced in Navy... I tried to put a positive spin :)
1. you are correct about stromoy
2. is never to late to start a new setup for tanks / planes. In fact , this will happen sooner or later
3. navi‘s issue ain’t just the heroes …but look at the unit manger in your base . It’s FAR FAR more effective to play tanks
4. the vast majority of players start with the tanks ….im a tank main since Megatron came out (was the moment Navi started to struggle ) and been tank main ever since .
5. you see my account setup : if I meet an army opponent…my army setup will help me win . And vs Navi players …I have my planes .
I rarely attack with my Navi .
I was also Navy main and was afraid at how hard it might be to switch, but it was easier than I feared and I never looked back. :-)

Yes true. But his proc skill is working on all units . Ofc , it’s the best to use the hero in such a way to reach his maximum performance. Which is , yes, on navi
And crimson can be quite a hard hitting universal PVE hero

Can't beat Stromoy with these new heroes, she's is huge damage booster.!! Replace Stormoy with Gipsy and then will see real battle stats-Zhen vs Crimson.
I just switched out Duke for Layla, and you were right she is stronger. So my navy march is Layla/Po/Crimson

Shake alpha was FAR WORSE…ONLY regular attacks would trigger his bullets ..ONLY REGULAR attacks …I went asap and said :
And went should the bullets from slots 4-5-6 should trigger ? Are you out of your mind …and they changed .
Duke originally supposed to support maple ..like Nelle correcting bry’s unique BUT a bad design.
Duke SIMPLY HITS THE WRONG targets , while your opponent’s proc demolishing your slots 1-6 (ht included ) .
I told them back then ( 1 full week before hero release: hit back rows = it’s bad . )
If players are under 300-350% dmg+/- and you must use encirclement units ..duke is FAR WORSE.
@@t-me8295 i appreciate your testing and figuring this small, but important, scenario’s out. I wish i had more time and knowledge to do more testing. I do a little but not as much as i would like. Yeah Nelle really helped brin, them along with striker are my army march.
@kcj1017 we are having a Bry 2.0 coming. Here is a thought worth mentioning:
While Nelle + Bry works nice together…I would NOT recommend to corner yourself by aiming for such HIGH depending heroes (of each other ).
As once you remove one ..the other won’t perform at top level
@@t-me8295 That’s exactly what happened with bryn, so I got Nelle. I am going to go away from hero’s for a little while especially if they are only marginally better than previous hero’s and work on other parts of my game that are more universal to all marches. Like decor, formations etc.
So I’m just going to complete 3 hm. I have zhen and stromy so far. I have maple at 4 stars , po 4 stars duke 5 stars and Layla 1 star. My plan is to use po and duke for Air Force. Whom should I use for navy ?
Have you picked a main class? I fear you spread yourself too thin if you don't optimize on a single good march at this point in your game progress.
@@ejh237 I have a strong army and strong navy. I’m about to hit 3 hm next week and have Layla who I can level up for navy to go along with zhen and stromy. Army I have nelle and bry at 5 stars along with duke. But I want to use duke and po for AF. All around I focused on Navy first but have had time to be all around decent.
Layla . PLEASE watch the videos on maple and STOP LEVELLING HER

It’s a MAIN NAVI issue and it has been like this for at least 1 and half years.
RG simple can’t make up their mind on navi heroes and they didn’t listen.
