In summary, sacrifice the stat you want onto the item you don't necessarily want.
This is counter-intuitive to me so thank you for explaining
You sacrifice the whole item to have : a RANDOM stat going to a RANDOM slot of the piece of gear which you are refining

Your luck is better than mine, I’ve abandon a few gold because I didn’t understand the direction of refinement and having the rng chose a slot that was greater, it is a really frustrating system to only allow gold to be refined and rng on it too.
Improvement are coming very soon . I explicitly asked today , if I may leak. The said : let us announce it.

Yes. Purple max level is 17.5% and gold is : 30% at max level

Army : Striker star lvl 5 , Gypsy lvl4 and Ghost lvl4
Navy : Crimson lvl4 , layla lvl4 , violet lvl4
Planes : Kum lvl4 Starscream lvl4 and barbie lvl3
I also have asuka lvl 4 brynhidr lvl4 katyush lvl4 as backups
Should i use them or do you have a better suggestion for these. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When you have the locking chip thing, for refining, does it use the locked attribute to put on the gear you are refining, or does the locked attribute get removed for the options the rng selects from?
It locks that attribute to be switched to the other pice of gear BUT TO A random slot

Is there a special tip you can give to get the gold Titan with ear with special effects? I can't seem to get any.
Save a good amount I used 13 gold catalyst and got 1 special effect but I also use 20 blue catalyst and 10 purple catalyst before I started my gold
what would have happened if you had done it the other way around? for example, if I have gear A with 3 attributes and gear B with 3 attributes, how does it work? which one replaces which?
If I would have done it the other way , I would have risked the low army ATK to replace the higher army ATK
Still haven't rolled a gold piece of gear. Maybe in a year i have enought to refine something once :D
More changes are coming. Don’t worry that much for now
so when Refining you need to use the least important first as it could get overwritten by the next item.
Ye. Must pay attention on the stats. There is a risk to replace a strong stat with a weak one
What happens if there is more than 1 random attributes in the sacrificial gear?
The gold gear has 3 slots (regardless if you have stats on it or not ) .
If you use that piece with 2 stats to refine another piece …a random one will replace a random one on that piece of gear you want to refine
I understand the one on receiving gear. So if the sacrificial gear has 2 or 3 attributes, only 1 of them will be transferred?@@t-me8295
So refinement is a go or no go for now? Still it's too much rng because I don't want it to replace my important stats like def
