We all have plenty of aspects which make us angry …but the sad reality is :
- we already invested a lot in this game ( money and time )
- there are really NO GOOD mobile battle games out there right now …pc games : absolutely yes. Mobile war games : far worse then topwar

T-me, really great instructional video - thanks for taking us step-by-step. In answer, as a modest VIP9, I got 2 TE SE on the first day of EL from two top-tier catalysts. From the compensation, I got 4 runes: Artillery Attack (on Gypsy), Armour Breaking (Gypsy), All-Out Surge (Striker), Unbreakable (Striker) - I think I’ve put them on the right heroes. Flammable I need to move to Asuka I’m guessing, and I have 2 x Magnetic Field SE on Snake, would be better on Brun - but she’s on my #2 Army March. Does that make sense? So yes, pretty happy with the compensation package - also holding 3 top-tier catalysts back for the TE Competition, due in a few days I believe. Thanks again T-me, I always look forward to watching.
Great educational Video T-me, I am cautiosly optimistic that in the long term this may level the playing field although it may get worse before it gets better. My question is should I link a special effect to a mediocre titan gear and then transfer it to a better one in the future or wait to get a better legendary Titan Gear
Thank you for making that video, it made the compensation even a little clearer, but still I apparently blindly drew those runes and got something, but I didn't know how to use them for the right things, weapons and shields.
I wasn't very happy with the 3 Runes I was expecting to get a few more.

I need to know on which hero setup you are planing to use it. I need to know the heroes .
Heavy blow can only work on gipsy or crimson ..sure there some other heroes in topwar BUT NOT WORTH MENTIONING.
I would use the searing rune on the indestructible hero on planes so asuka can deploy it right after

Planes - Shinji, Brady and Asuka
@@oli57 in your shoes , I would use it as follows .
Searing on Shinji on planes (which I literally put on today )
Heavy blow on gipsy or striker .
You are using literally the same setup as me . And due to the crazy amount of army units which you can fit in your base , I would suggest you to threat army as main march .

Thanks for the showing us the mechanics of the new system. Could you explain more about the optimal setup. For instance:
- 1/ What is the best rune (is it the +%dmg / -%dmg effects OR the hit effects like magnetic, ignition, etc)?
- 2/ I note the differences in drop rates for runes (2.5% for Dmg runes, 0.63% for the various effect type, and only 0.50% for the rarest special effects on the Pistol and Armour, i.e. Artillery, All-Out Surge, Steel Torrent, Unbreakable. Can we use this as a guide to which is better?
- 3/ the +/-%Dmg runes are fixed amounts, whereas the other hit effects are % based. Do the latter provide a better long-term option? As heroes get stronger over time, a fixed damage % will reduce in relevance.
- 4/ The +/- % Dmg runes have 6 upgrade stages it seems (3 stars), whilst the others increase to 1 star. Can we read something into this?
- 5/ Each hero has 6 gear slots. What's the optiam profile for heroes then? Is it to packing them with lots of + or - damage runes or trying to get lots of the same type of special effect that can stack, e.g. ignition or magnetic pulse?

I have 2 vulnerable and 1 magnetic and 1 ignition. and i'm navy using Gypsy , Striker and Crimson, i know ignition and magnetic won't work on those heroes, which heroes shall i put Vulnerable?
Hold on. Which type of effects you have ?
1. Effects which apply IF THE HERO HAS AN ACTIVE SKILL
OR
2. Extra vulnerable, ignition , magnetic
If case 1 : works on all 3 of your heroes : gipsy striker crimson
@@t-me8295 Timmy, just to clarify the "If hero has the Debilitation effect" and "if the hero has the Vulnerability effect" are for which heros?

1. The hero has an active skill and you are equipping that SE which allows him to cast this effects after his proc
OR/ AND
2. The hero has that inclueded in his hero design

Remember to open the random effects before choosing what other effects you want from boxes. For example if you only have one march, use a chest to get an indestructible buff and get another one from random chests, you´ll have to upgrade the effect which is worse than having another lv1 effect

There are 2 Types of runes with the following effects : ignition , debilitation , vulnerability, magnetic pulse .
A. One type is : IF THE HERO has an active skill
B. The other is : if the hero HAS THIS EFFECT
Your alliance is correct : place it on asuka .
On snake eyes: he does NOT have an active skill ..so all this runes of type A (look up) will NOT work on him

I got "magnetize" and "all-out surge" runes ... first one I know is for Brynhildr and Nelle (I don't use any of them), but which heroes benefit from "all-out surge" rune?

@matthewconnors6434 no Matthew. The old 40% is still in game and you can start now at 10% and upgrade and reach it .
It’s a long road needing 32 blue runes (10%) but you can reach it .
In the past it was : either luck to get it. Or no luck
@@t-me8295 the rune system is a little confusing. Are we able to unequip runes or do we have to switch them to other equipment with inheritance.
I got flammable rune and all-out surge rune. Ignite and hero skill additional time. I don’t have an ignite hero lvled up so I guess I only have one smh lol. Wanted the magnetic so badly. Smh 😢
No worries. Let’s hope we get more SE a in the future with events etc
surprised you didn't get all out surge. being able to proc twice in one shot seems like the better option than choosing 10 percent damage. i know its not at the full damage but its still a bunch of extra damage depending on the character you use it on.
Let’s hope we will get more SE due to events and I will re- evaluate this . For the time being, I think the dmg+ / - it’s a very strong choice
Which heroes are the best to use debilitate rune?
Is it better to get the Artillary storm, all out surge, steel torrent, or unbreakable in place of the damage +/- ? For example, is steel torrent better for snake than dmg + or -? Is Artillery storm or all out surge better on gypsy than the damage increase?
You see in my stream what steel torrent (4%) does on snake. Went from 1.98T to 2.01T
Out of surge or artillery storm on gipsy : I do t think they are better then dmg + honestly
@t-me8295 I won a 6 star steel torrent but also have plenty of ruin to replace with dmg se. Could put the lesser option on my seconday.

Hi T-me, when they released the mail in the game for the TG Update announcement, in item #2, it says the Legendary Catalyst will be revised to when using 1 to craft a Gear a corresponding Titan Rune will be definitely produced. I already used 3 of them & only got 1 Rune. Is this a Bug or what am I Missing?
Probably a bad translation. There are still a few bugs . Gold catalyst is not guaranteed special effect. It’s a higher drop rate , but not guaranteed, Nancy

I am really upset they didn’t tell us our crafting history before awarding the compensation. We should have had time to forge more of the parts we were close to 20 (or multiples of 20) before they calculated things. Based on the number of random choice chests I got I assume I had to be over 15/20 on 3 parts that didn’t make it to a choice chest. I feel cheated and robbed and customer support just tells me they are sorry, but not sorry enough to do anything about it now. But hey, they’ll pass along my feedback for next time… There's not going to be a next time for me. Time for me to either quit completely or just stop all spending. Free to play boycott.
Stop spending . I would wait to see the small battle events (similar to TC legends match up ..which is very good)
Sell your account and buy into a different game. there are many very similar games with responsible devs. it says alot about river games that they would release a feature this unbalanced.

ONE type of rune ..which amplifies the magnetic wave will work on Brunhildr BUT ALSO on Nelle .
That’s why …if you add the other rune :
IF the hero has an active skill ..the hero can get : vulnerable , debilitation , ignition , DEBILITATION

It’s NOT 15% indestructible..it’s 15% of Shinji value. And yes : go dmg increases at the beginning
So I have a couple 30% armor breaking effects equipped to gypsie. At the the time it was my only option but now I have so many effects I can choose what I assign and where. Does it makes sense to keep those on gyp or swap them to dmg increases? Also what about decrease dmg

Nothing. But I have hopes for the small battle events coming , similar to TC legends . A great match making experience
So this game has jumped the shark. It’s lame and ruined. No need to give them more time and money, they aren’t fixing anything. Time to something new.
We will have to wait and see what the next 3 months brings us. By then, their either made it or can close it down , while their other 2 games are a simple copy paste catastrophe
Hopefully the other games fail and so does Top War. Rivergames doesn’t care about its player base. They pretended to ask for feedback and did nothing with it. We had hope. They announced, and we said we still have time before it was launched. And we hoped. They don’t care. They broke the game they built. Maybe if they played it they’d understand? But this is not sustainable for anyone other than those with limitless disposable income and the willingness to spend it on a mobile game. It shouldn’t cost more than your home to be competitive on a game you play on your phone. As hobby it was fun for a bit, but there’s no slow building, it’s full throttle always and there’s no coasting. They broke it…they won’t fix it. We call them stupid, but they think the same of us, and they have our money. So who’s right?
actually it made it far more unbalanced. I could live with whales having advantage but now every vip10 is rocking 80% dmg from gear. completely deflated value of decor and exclusives people have been buying religiously for years. time spent money spent in the past now means very little. I plan to sell out and try a different game.

If that’s the effect you have , you should use it …
1. If the rune description says : when a hero has an active skill …..then it works on any hero with active skill : gipsy , striker ,Duke , Shinji , Layla , crimson , etc
2. If the description says: if the hero HAS magnetic pulse already :
A. You need that rune you see at point no. 1
And / or
B . Use it on Bry or Nelle

There not much info regarding skills and how they work. Also I not sure if having two breaking Armor 15% on striker combines together or only one skill will be activated.

It depends which piece of gear. Some have to be used on heros with that specific skill but others allow you to use on any hero

You need 32 Runes to get a maxed out SE, so at .5% chance of getting 1 Rune you need ~6400 Gold Catalysts to get a maxed out SE??? This is somehow better?? I swear I wish I could hack into everyones account & stop them from playing as I would for sure do the same. This is the only way these idiots will ever learn. All should even quit TW. Abysmal!!
What I was focusing on was :
1. The compensations ( which are far for being fair
2. Being able to upgrade existing SE
You are correct, the new system is FAR more expensive.
Bottom line is : people won’t buy = RG achieved another failure
