Mustangs are the descendants of domesticated horses brought to the USA, especially those introduced by Spanish colonial settlers. This means they are feral horses rather than wild ones. Mustangs have become a symbol of the Old West as they are an important part of its fascinating history, and they still roam freely in herds over open ranges in the western part of the USA as well as in smaller bands elsewhere. The herds are managed by the Bureau of Land Management, which hosts regular events to enable people to adopt or buy a Mustang. Private vendors may sell a Mustang too, so there are various ways to acquire one of these beautiful, charismatic horses.

Well, they're small, which is good, but high-spirited, and I am a beginner. I think the quarter horse might be better for me. They are also less expensive, than the mustangs on your site, which is odd, because one can adopt mustangs in the U.S.

for a beginner the Quarter Horse might be more interested but in the end it always depends on the horse character ;) the mustangs advertised on ehorses are trained and already imported to Germany, that makes the price. Hope it helps!
