After buying Louie’s original tapes and learning how to correctly box Squat .I think this has been the best thing I’ve ever done for my over all strength and fitness.
Without a DOUBT one of the most knowledgeable minds in the sport. Taking his instructions and doing them in the way he instructs them to be done; WILL lead to improvement. Speed, strength, muscle, endurance or whatever your training regiment, Louie is the man to listen to. I was sorry to hear about his passing 😞
Miss Louie, he truly cared about us. As for box squats, they strengthen the hips and are a must if you want longevity in lifting. Ofcourse there are skeptics, but let's see if they are still around lifting after their 40's?
as someone with patella tendonitis,i wouldn't squat 80kgs even though i am 80kg, now using box squats I can do all the way up to 140kg squats with no pain or knee wraps.
The fact these coaches needed so much convincing about conjugate when Lou casually references 1000lb+ squatters and quotes actual physics and anatomical statistics is embarrassing.
RIP Big man, u will always be missed

"you wanna get the most out of exercises. Don't let them get the most out of you". So upset he's gone he was my childhood idol.
This information is pure gold. I pray these teachings remain relevant for the next generations.

I don't have a box at my gym but can I use a bench to sit back on?
As long as the height is right, that can work as a substitute
