I was there. I was so close to catching it
He suffered a ligament injury last year and underwent surgery.
He faced the pressure of a big contract after leaving the team he had fought alongside for six years.
He must have struggled with betrayal from a trusted interpreter and not being able to perform as usual due to the injury.
It was painful to see him struggle during his pitching rehab.
But with this one hit, I remembered that he is a unicorn who can overcome all of that.
