As a lifelong diver I find the lack of diver clasp or glide clasp a serious fault with the strap. The fact this also comes without a date window is awesome. The bezel and colour is wonderful but perhaps the doming could be lessened somehow for a future version.

I bought one last year. Love it even though it’s a Ronda quartz. Been recreational diving and still looks great. Maybe my favorite diver. Gets tons of love. I emailed scurfa and the owner emailed me back that they had one left.

Awesome glad you enjoy yours and you are one of the few where a dive watch sees water haha.

Great review on the Scurfa Diver One! I particularly appreciated the detail of the review and the shots with different straps options that you provided. Thank you!

Grade 2 titanium hi spec diver for $350. So I guess that means that Tudor's in house movement itself in their comparable Pelagos 39 must itself be worth about $4k ;-)

Haha Sometimes value is in a name. Of course the pelagos 39 does wear better but it’s just one of those things of can you settle or are you ok with quartz 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really impressed. Dial is gorgeous, and I was relieved that it wears much thinner than the 14mm thickness would indicate. Having worn it for a while, did you notice that it was prone to scratching? As always thank you for sharing, and congrats on over 1.5 million views!

To be fair I didn’t wear the watch very hard but I didn’t scratch it at all. I know grade two can be a little scratch prone but I didn’t have any bad experiences. And thank you! Wild to think that many views have happened 😂

I really love the way this looks ! I'm in the mood for a fun summer watch and the quartz aspect actually is a plus ( for a change) Are you a stickler for lume matching? I'd say so, but hey, no one else talks about it so we appreciate that here in the audience. Those hands look really sezy. Will probably buy one now. Love that Chevron Harris!

Hopefully comes back in stock for you soon! It really is a lovely watch I think you’ll enjoy it. Look forward to some of your lovely shots of it.

Thanks for that detailed, insightful review of this watch. I have this watch on my radar & your review really helped me decide to try to catch one in stock and add it to my collection. I liked the strap show you provided.

Interesting that this originally made a cameo appearance in your Shellback video. I am interested in both watches (the brushed finish is captivating and I can't afford a railmaster!). Obviously the Scurfa is half the price, but how do you feel these two compare? what about the wear? I have a 6 3/4" wrist.

thinking of pulling trigger on this one...would you know where watches are made? I know it's a UK company but are watches made there?

No, paul has them made in China then QCs them and ships from the UK. Many large Swiss brands use cases crystals and parts of "Swiss made" movements that originate in China. To get Swiss made only 65% of the value must be from Switzerland, on a cheap watch that could be paying a Swiss person to assemble the Chinese pieces. Paul designed and QCs these pieces himself which is why the quantities can be limited. He also uses them while saturation diving so that's more than most dive watch companies.

So let me amend my comment, I ordered a Scurfa Topside Crew and I highly recommend that you *do not order from Scurfa Watches.* This is nothing to say about this channel, a watch is a watch, this is about the company Scurfa Watches itself. I ordered a 37mm Topside Crew and when I received it the dial did not remotely match the photos on the website. I live in the US, they are in the UK so I contacted them to send it back. I did not wear it, their return policy is absurdly strict but I was fortunate enough to see it before I opened it up. I ended up having to pay to ship it back (fair) but when it arrived they deducted their shipping cost from originally sending it to me from the return. That is so GD petty. I asked if I could exchange it, they did not respond so I highly recommend that no one buy directly from this company. They are not honorable.

That sucks to hear. They do state on the site they won’t refund postage price and they do seem to have a pretty strict return policy. Would be nice for them to be a little more understanding but the not getting back to you part isn’t great.
