Fondant Unicorn Cake Topper Tutorial (No Fancy Tools Or Molds Needed)

We all know how popular unicorn cakes are but sometimes modelling them can be a bit tricky. I've tried to make quite a simplified version so that it is easy to recreate at home, even by beginners. I use very minimal tools and each section is clearly shown in this step by step real time tutorial.
The things you will need are -
A polystyrene block (or something similar) to build the unicorn on
A cocktail stick
A brush
Some water/edible glue
Gold paint/luster dust
Fondant shaping tool (although you could use a cocktail stick for this)
White fondant
Coloured fondant (I used violet, pale pink, autumn leaf as a base for the gold paint and a pre-made black)
Tylose/CMC powder - you'll need to add this to your fondant to stiffen it up a little and allow it to harden
