been collecting manga for over 3 years now with 100 volumes in my collection and still watching like i dont know every series he is going to recommend. a sign you are a good content creator.
I’ve only been reading manga since less than a year. One of the things I love about Kaiju No. 8 that I don’t hear talked about with any manga is most chapters recap what happened on the last pages of the previous chapter in case it’s been a while since you put it down. Also there’s a huge focus on the action so you FLY through the volumes.
Bro I was watching this and thinking, yea these recommendations are alright and then you hit me with the ALICE IN BORDERLAND like bro that manga is insane I couldn't agree more.
Kaiju no 8 is one of the manga that has a protagonist not in his teens but in his 30s like me so it’s pretty relatable and one of my current new manga to date 👍
I just started collecting last year first manga I read was Uzumaki and that was so damn good, The first full series bought and read was Demon Slayer which I think is a good beginner manga as well. But either way fantastic video
I would say im pretty new to manga yet and what do i do? Go and buy all 4 one piece box sets AND the singles up 106.. i got myself into something CRAZY lol. But im really enjoying it, im on volume 57! But yeah the series is VERY dense in terms of information, characters, dialog, art, everything lol. Its been a challenge and is definitely overwhelming at times but overall im having a good time.
Here from the tt bro and js subbed 🔥 can I get ur option on something? I’m thinking about getting the first volume of : Tokyo Ghoul, Death Note, 20th Centruy Boys, Solo Leveling and Black Torch (thx for that recommendation btw) as my first mangas, and once I’ve read them all I’ll choose my favourite(s) and complete them first ( I plan on completing them all along with others like vagabond and hells paradise ) but I was just wondering if you would recommend doing this?
If I was going to give recommendations my 5 would probably be Hells paradise: volumes looks sick, simple nice story, characters are DOPE (especially the blind dude), it doesn't overstay its welcome, and a power system thats really cool and like pokemon Blue Box: this is actually getting an anime soon and I'm excited. its a sports romance with a nice blend of both. its not overly tropey and both mcs' want each other to succeed and while you still have the drama it feels realistic and enjoyable to read. the art is clean, the covers and spines are cool and easily available. tokyo ghoul: this was my first manga due to season 2 of the anime being terrible and now I've gone down the rabbit hole. awesome art by the GOAT tsui Ishida (I need to read choujin X I read the first chapter when it came out and waited for a physical release and got it but haven't read it), awesome covers, awesome story, and D all the above. I need to reread it since I never finished RE: and never collected all of it so even after like 2-3 years of collecting manga I still have more tokyo ghoul Spy X Family: just wholesome slice of life with amazing action and characters and Anya. A Silent Voice: HA you thought I wouldn't put depression here but your wrong it was I Dio!!!!! All jokes aside A silent voice is both an amazing manga and movie with characters you'll love, hate, and sympathize for. You'll feel happy, depressed, amazed, and comfort no matter how many times you go through it. it's one of my favorite movies of all time and no matter How many times I go through it I still tear up when *that* scene is on screen. So anyway these would be my recommendations was considering death note but with how much dialogue is in even a single panel I think its better for a first anime then manga(took me about 90 minutes to finish a single volume, the box set singles, when it typically takes me 30-40 minutes to finish one)
Order of manga I’ve read In the order I read them. Posting before watching to compare 1. One piece 2. Chainsaw man 3. Baki 4. Jojos part 7 5. JJK 6. Berserk 7. Vagabond 8. Vindland saga 9. Bleach 10. Solo leveling
Been wanting to buy either the one piece box set or the Naruto box set. Only read dragon ball and Death note so pretty new to this stuff. Anyone got recommendations? Thanks!
I didin't really had an interest in Tokyo Ghoul but after u first recommended it on tiktok I bought it and now I love it as a beginner manga collector, keep up the good work! 🩷😸
Don’t listen to this guy. You can literally start any series you want. Just because this dude has 800 plus volumes doesn’t mean he’s the god of collecting
Yes, you can start with any series if you want but, this is for people who don't have any experience on reading manga. It's better to start off with the mangas mentioned. Doesn't mean that you have to read it. It's just recommendations
