Dante Ferrise I thought the edits from a horrific moment into a silly cheesy moment were terrible. Totally killed the flow. They made Hopper into a fool, which I didn’t think was funny at all. I guess we all see different things. I thought it was just OK. Hope next season is much better. If I wanted to watch a silly 80’s movie, there are plenty to choose from. I expected more from this series.

17:49 yep amazon is the mall of this era. my dad grew up in a small area and when the mall open up about 15 mins away from his town in 82 many ppl stormed to that place and stores he knew in downtown and near his school went out of business. and it all comes down to convinience which is same as amazon. malls back then everything is all in one area. clothing, tech, food, entertainment and jobs for teens/young adults. which my dad did get a job in there for the new theater. now today clothing and tech can be shipped. food delivered through doordash, grubhub, uber eats etc. entertainment is easily accesible now through phone, console or computer. and like what malls did to small towns back then now today some malls are becoming ghost malls because not enough ppl go in.

When you get to know his backstory and everything he went through you can't help but feel sorry. Your statement about him being a badass is completely true as he fucking held back the mind flayer tentacles with his hands which no human without powers has done.
