I mainly rock the dumpster diving scene but can be found digging through trash curbside as well as scavenging the river bottoms for lost treasures in the summer months. Join me on my epic voyages!

In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. That was Starry Night. The Scream has the man screaming and it is by a different artist not Van Gogh

No. Edvard Munch is The Scream. Google it. Klimt does other styles of work like The Bathers.
Munch did several versions of The Scream.
There is a print of the screaming man with the starry night background, but there is also one with the joker

Those shelves are great to put on a basement floor, or any cement floor to keep stuff dry.

I use to joke my son at Xmas. A toaster box full of clothes. He was disappointed he really wanted a toaster. One yr baby wipes

Mike, you take wwwaayy more stuff than I would! Think the black box (electronic dumpster w apple macbook boxes) is a document scanner. When I see or find broken glass, I slow down my moving stuff around. I dont scrap, I just look in random dumpsters, curbside junk piles, for electronics. Good scrappin' just the same! Thought for just 1 minute you really found some macbooks! 🤓
On those printers that you find you can turn in the ink cartridges and toner cartridges to Staples and they give you credit that you can spend at Staples!

I wish you would take those bundles of boxes to the post office so they can be used, so much waste.
They wouldn’t be able to sell it anyway as it would not be on stock. Maybe someone who ships a lot of stuff (like me) could use it.
@@volkhen0 The USPS boxes are free at the post office and can also be ordered online, delivered to your door.
@@MrYuk-xp4bl I see, I didn’t know that. I’m not from US. But I guess you could use them to send goods by UPS or FedEx etc. I sell a lot of stuff on our Polish version of eBay and boxes are always handy.

Edvard Munch did the painting of the scream. I’ve sold Mac book boxes and iPhone boxes, empty ones, on eBay. I sold an iPhone X box, empty, for £15 on eBay.
Mike looks in a dumbster, and calls the facemasks dirty - that is why I have watched so many of these!!

Have to say there’s quite a difference between how you scrap now and how you scrapped 3 yrs ago. I watched you throw 2 short filing cabinets to the side and leave them. And your attitude has changed for the better. Not to mentioned you’ve cleaned up your vocabulary too ! Lol

Mike my son delivered paper to the Empire State Building in NYC One day when the truck was empty he asked if they had pallets the guy showed him a room full of pallets my son loaded up the truck and came home with over 800 dollars they paid 15.00 per pallet so there is good money in doing it

U know, I found a drone box for one of those mini drones which i didn’t think was in there but grabbed it anyway just because...got home and looking through everything I found and opened that box up and the thing was in there! It was so light tho it felt empty...so....just saying..check that kind of stuff cuz they’re so light and a lot of times people won’t take out the extra propeller parts they come with...I’ve had a few people ask me to look for the replacement parts or broken ones so they could fix theirs

When you find those plastic drawer units in good condition you should keep them. They are actually quite costly brand new. I know you could get $5+ for them at one of your garage sales.

hi mike those r134a refrigerant tanks might be worth having a look at because the refillable ones are over $100 on amazon. repair shops need them when they work on cars and have to empty the a/c.

I do same thing at Christmas get like phone boxes, boot boxes, and so on. I will put like socks, shirts maybe even a toy. Something to match the same weight as what would of been in the boxes

It never ceases to amaze me how people and stores just throw everything away. They need to recycle or give to those who don't have. My sons always have a pile of scrap going at their shop.
I would've taken those pallets and made something out of them like shelves. It looked like really good wood. I really miss dumpster diving. I still try but now that I'm older and have had knee replacements I just can't move around like I used to.
I started dumpster diving 40 years ago before it was a THING. When you're poor and you find good things for you and your kids it was very rewarding to recycle things and get creative using them. I gotta say,it embarrassed the heck out of my kids, lol! They'd be like, PLEASE MOMMA DON'T STOP! I wasn't too proud to look for goodies though. Loved it! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️☮️🙏 Be careful dude!
