    Your English humour is very funny. It's a shame paper coffee cups are used. It may be an economy, but think of the millions of paper cups in a landfill. 12:00 the view of the lake is similar to the view from the Burke-Gilman bike trail on the West side of Lake Washington.

    • @rogerschuerch7768

      I don't no why they served paper cups, normally they use proper dishes in swiss dining cars.

      yes its true but you guys have lots of money.most of the billioners live in USA.your goverment can build this type of train system but the pessenger load will be less because most people have their own big heavy duty pickup trucks.and i think people will use them if they have experienced NYC subway.

      I understand what you mean. But you have to see it with the eyes of a Japanese. 1.) They do not have much time and want to see all the hot-spots in only a few days. 2.) Japanese like travelling by train. So Kuga also seems to be a train-enthusiast. 3.) I personally agree according travelling by train. Only for to see the vegetation and to get a overview about a country travelling by train is really good. You met more foreign people comparing to travelling by bus or car.

    $13B for a 56 km tunnel system isn’t that bad. Amtrak is projecting $16B for the Hudson River tunnel project. That’s 5 to 6 km at the most.

    • @StefanWithTrains
      @StefanWithTrains ปีที่แล้ว

      and aslo this is an BASE tunnel, so it costs way more then normal tunnels.

    • @logicdictates4me
      @logicdictates4me ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This was built on time and on budget. Leave it to the Swiss. BTW in the US, unions make everything cost more including delays and cost overruns when big projects are involved.
      If they say 16 billion to build it turns out to cost 20 billion guaranteed.

    Hello from Italy! I tried the Sagami Japanese restaurant that you visited in this video and I ate very well: finally a real Japanese restaurant and not a recycled Chinese,,, Moreover, I discovered that Sagami restaurants are present in many Italian cities, so I will not fail to try others. It is truly curious that a Japanese is able to recommend a restaurant to an Italian. I will probably still need your advice in September when I visit Japan!

    If you are such a train enthousiast why skipping the most spectacular train ride over the Swiss Alps in the world's most spectacular mountain scenery, for a ride through the Gotthard tunnel just a few kilometers longer than a similar tunnel in Japan? I don't get it: what's the kick? Sitting in luxurious fast trains all the time and getting expensive meagre snacks and experience different seats and bathrooms .... If you have seen one, you have have seen them all I reckon?
