I’ve noticed the rear section of the frame on the Colorado and Canyon is pretty thin, which probably is partially to blame for the exessive flex. The rear frame section on the new Tacoma looks like it’s at least 1 inch thicker. There have been a few people on the Colorado forum and on TH-cam that have actually had their bed flex enough that it hits the cab and causes damage.
Lookin good. I'm at around 14k miles, and still absolutely love the truck. Truck just feels great while driving. Eventually, I'll do some mods, just have a couple cosmetics currently.
1:55 in your trucks defense… it’s CarPly in vehicle/mfg. Every time Apple does a software update, the manufactures have to make their infotainment software match and it takes a while to match up
I have been looking at that bumper for my ZR2. Does the front bar interfere with the forward camera and are those the factor fog lights inside the bumper?
My bed also flexes, also with my bed rack the sides are separating from the bulkhead, will need bed stiffeners depending on what kind of setup you have. I found holding down the phone button on the right hand of the steering wheel clears the apple carplay issue.
I need to get a camera on the back end to see what is going on. but i do agree it is going to need bed stiffeners!. thank you ill give that a try to fix the carplay!
I am at 21000 miles on my '23 ZR2. The truck is awesome. No major issues. Some small screen glitches here and there but that's it. Yours truck is looking great. I think the flex or bounce of the truck bed you're seeing is an optical illusion. I see it thru the rear view mirror with nothing at all in the bed. I really don't think it's flexing. Hope not anyway.
@@TommorrowIZnoGuarentee at first that is what I thought , but more and more I look at it it looks like it is flexing I’m going to put a few cameras around the truck
The GM designers explanation of not allowing the 4 windows to is safety. Hopefully making you look to ensure people and/or pets aren't hanging out the windows.
Are you talking about my ditch lights ? That’s from CCE or levelup suspension coloradocanyonenthusiasts.com/collections/featured/products/cce-ditch-light-brackets-2023-colorado-canyon
mine has been going in and out. At first I was thinking it was the cable but more and more I see people having issues with it I know its not my cable lol sad part is its not like this is new tech in a car/ truck it should not be an issues
I also have issues with the apple car play, specially when I’m leaving home. My phone is connected to the wifi and when I jump into the truck, the apple car play uses wifi to connect and it does not do it unless I have been away from home and I restart the truck. 🙄
I have the same truck in grey on 315s and you know my dad Andy’s black zr2. I’m at 30000k.. on the back roads I’m getting a rattle in my steering column and when I turn my wheels I’m getting a loud ping from either side. We are stumped to what it could be. Do you have any weird noises ?
Was up buddy ! I’m sorry he is your dad hahaha JK he’s. An amazing dude ! lol hmm no I’ve never had any of those issues ( knock on woods ) what lift are you running ? You can hit me up on facebook or whatever but know I’m going to listen to my truck lol
I’m 3000+ miles in with my’24 ZR2 and I’m kinda disappointed in the power. I was thinking the power to weight ratio would launch the truck but I have to really mash the pedal getting on the highway. Still love the truck but dissatisfied with the power.
May wanna look at getting a wind booster. , a throttle response, cause that was a night and day difference for me I definitely think it’s under geared. In my opinion
@@alwaysdifferent I’m not against a wind booster but I’m coming from a 2.0 turbo Cherokee trailhawk that had 135 foot pounds of torque less than my ZR2 that definitely had more zip getting on the highway.
I put them on Facebook market place within 2 hours, I had them sold a while back. I know a that is selling a set I'm not sure what he is asking for them tho. i can find out for you
@@alwaysdifferent siiiick. That’s my next step. I have a ZR2 just like yours, black. But it’s a 2024. I watched your CCE level up kit video. Was that hard for you to do? I wanna get it as well but may pay someone to do it 🤔

hack ya !!! I wish there was more trails around by me where I don't have to drive 8 + hours to get to some good spot this just lives for the trails
12k miles and same here. Great job Chevy.
FYI…if you’re driving and your CarPlay stops working, you can go on your phone and turn CarPlay off and on and that should start it working again.
ill give that a go the next time it dose that. for something that is not new tech its a pain lolol

true , just seem like a ton of people are having problems with is right out of the box. we will see if GM starts sending out over the air updates
I had this always with my 2021 Colorado, it was plugged in due to no wireless. I just bought a 2024 ZR2 and not is not promising news.
ive kissed the cab already, i'm planning on testing my 2nd gen frame plates on my 23 canyon and plan to share my findings
lol. That’s gonna be needed. lol

Yes you still reuse the factory fog lights , The bull bar doesn’t interfere with the. Forward camera

All longer trucks - you can observe the tailgate moving up and down when the rest isn't. My F150 was the absolute worst, but it had a 6.5' bed.

Yes I’m still using it lol Honestly I forgot about it Lolol It definitely helps the truck
I want a slim low profile roof rack that can accommodate the sunroof . I hate gaps between the rack and the roof
ya I'm on the same boat, I wanna get a low profile. i don't use the sunroof that much but i don't wanna lose it too if i put a rack on top
Apple CarPlay sucks with every car not just the Colorado

i heard of people getting 35s on without a lift but i would at lest get a level up/ cce front level kit just to get the front end up
