I purchased one for my 2023 Colorado WT. I ended up removing it, as I noticed that the truck instrumentation was taking a lot longer to come up. After I removed it. Never had problems after that. That was my experience

I buy 2024 colorado in korea just 3 weeks ago I think more RPM, more vibaration when engine restar in green right so when i drive i always turn off auto stop but sometime i forgot it 😢 thank you for information!

4:25 damn! the ability to remove the divider between the zones if needed is genius! some trips require only a fridge, but the option to have a freezer too is dope!

Or you can just hit the switch to shut the feature off

I had mine done over a week ago and not too happy. Now I have the stupid 3 square icon on the left of the screen that you can't change out to another. When changing the DIC screens, it is slower now in the response. Also I am now getting alerts for front crash warning not working and side alerts. Never had that before. It did fix a couple of issues though. Like when I changed my tachometer to another view, it would revert back to the default one. Also my radio would change sources AM to XM channel when the auto lights would turn off. And speaking of the lights, I used to have a white headlight indicator on the DIC and now it is gone. Just the green one shows which is the same as the parking lights. The update did NOT fix the blinker issue of turning right and the blinker would trip the lane change blink when going back to the off pisition. Ot did it 5 times just this past Saturday. I was hoping that the update would have gave us with 2023 mdels the 2024 model DIC full screen. My son has a 2024 ZR2 and I like that DIC better. It uses the entire screen and has more options.

I have been looking at that bumper for my ZR2. Does the front bar interfere with the forward camera and are those the factor fog lights inside the bumper?

I've never gotten more than 19mpg regardless of speed, over a range of at least 50 miles hahaha didn't buy the ZR2 for that but it would be nice if I got 400 miles.

i am honestly scared to update mine. the last update my truck had last month locked my truck in an updateing state and the truck wouldnt fully power down. took it to the dealer after trying to update it and it not being able to because it was also stuck in an update failed state. the dealer had my truck for a week and had been in contact with gm engenering and they struggled to get the truck to update. after a week they finally got it to take the update.

I have a 2023 LT and had the updat done last Thursday. I have had a new issue since the update. Apple CarPlay stopped playing sound then I switched to AM and FM and no sound. Shut the truck off on restart no issues. Steering wheel control for Apple Car play, specifically the forward /back one song don’t always work (that has been there since I got it. I bought it used about 3 weeks ago. Wanted a Z71 but happy with the LT so far.

How do you have youtube on your infotainment center? Is it one of the magic box things? I'm ignorant with stuff like that.

REALLY hope Ford releasing performance tune for the Ranger Raptor pushes chevy to possibly give us a tune that at least lets us take full advantage of 91-93 octane. That would give another bump to mpg when you aren't playing.

I did mine about 2 weeks ago. Went smooth. About 3-4 hrs. No issues (knock on wood). I've noticed some gas mileage improvement too. I did read somewhere that they did something with the transmission shifting. Also noticed they removed the gas mileage meter and replaced it with single trip since start up gas mileage gauge. Actually got up to 25mpg on my way into tower this morning. That's about all I noticed aside from what you already mentioned.

I hope I get that mpg increase! The Bison is drinking all my gas 😂

We love our '23 Trail Boss, haven't had any issues either (knock on closest piece of wood). Just curious how long it took them to complete your service for the update.

I wish they would make it to where it's automatically off whenever you start your vehicle. If you want to use it then you have to push the button to turn it on.

Can the lights be added later easily or do the need to be installed during the original installation?

The GM designers explanation of not allowing the 4 windows to is safety. Hopefully making you look to ensure people and/or pets aren't hanging out the windows.

I’m gonna need to adjust my Icon’s higher now that it’s carrying so much more weight around. I’m thinking about stiffer springs too.

I just test drove the Colorado RZ2, the Colorado ZR2 BISON and the GMC Canyon AT4X . The BISON was my least favorite but it looks awesome and for pure off-road it would be my first choice . The ZR2 is easily the best deal and I cannot imagine someone not liking or even loving it. I ended up with the Canyon AT4X( desert sand metallic) . The interior of the canyon AT4X is really next level..... When I first started truck shopping I thought I would end up with a Tacoma. I previously looked at the Tacoma but I found it too cramped ( I am 6 feet and 215 lbs), plus it is crazy expensive for what you get( or maybe I should say for what you don't get). Toyota is going to have to drop the price of those things if they want to compete. ..My legs really feel locked in in the Tacoma. It kinda made me feel claustrophobic . The Colorado and canyon felt like I could move around in it more. They just felt much more comfortable plus you also get so much more for your money( at least imo). The ZR2 is a crazy good deal for what you get compared to anything else out there.

Any desire for the Bison? I’m tempted but I feel like I’m ultimately ending up with a slower vehicle, losing an MPG, and I’m not doing hardcore rock climbing or anything. Just trails and water and mud.
