Great video !! Make sure to wash that tag and seal any documents that may contain residue from the gun powder, it maybe flagged at the post office!!
I love family time, kids will always remember shooting the Elvis jet with Dad and family, Now that was a piece of steel, I believe there is a hotter .50 cal round but their $100 a shot.
Jimmy world just became my favorite aviation TH-cam channel. I like that you keep things fun and family appropriate.
Somewhere in Kentucky, a really big dude is using his thumb to wipe away a tear of joy.😂
Honey, have you seen my bowling ball?
Glad you're a 50 cal owner but even more stoked to see the kids learning firearm safety
Love America 🇺🇸
Especially the 500 magnum ❤
Boys with their Toys! Puts a smile on my face.
Glad to see someone else like me that loves guns and flying machines.
as a weapons instructor in the military and later law enforcement for over 20 years it warms my heart to see you taking your boys to the range, showing them good safety procedures and introducing them to the world of recreational shooting.
I recognize that holler and it was so good to see Mr. Webb appear. Not gonna let my son know guns that big are hiding out there in the woods but I'm sure my dad will bring it up when we visit soon. haha
Jimmy has all kinds of toys, rock on man.
@MooneyPilot that's unfortunate, here in Indiana there are very few restrictions on that sort of thing. The politicians keep trying to though, especially in Indianapolis. It's a large blue zit in a state of mostly red.
Literally just watched demolition ranch before yours, this was too much fun.
Jimmy getting his true FLORIDA MAN FRUSTRATIONS OUT ON
This is likely going to be a favorite of mine 🤗😂 airplanes and pews. Two of my favorite things, 🤷🏼♂️😂 just add cigars, and it would be all my favorite things lol
Man of many talents.
I have watched a lot of TH-cam gun community vids… ALOT… never in all those vids have I ever seen a 50 BMG vs Bowling Ball demonstration, until today. From the guy I watch doing airplane stuff usually… Well Done, Young Man, Well Done.
Zero flinch on that empty chamber trigger pull. You just gained more of my respect. I'd be flinching like a skittish cat.
You know Shooting channels do really really well on TH-cam, "Jimmys Range world”
"Hi there. My name is Jimmy and welcome to Florida Ballistics."
Looks like Tennessee.
Jimmy! Now you've gone and done done it! Added my No1 hobby to my No2. That is #1 putting holes in paper (and other items) PLUS #2 learning to fly. I have been shooting since I was about 10 and still doing it. I have had a desire to fly since the mid 60's. Now I have my student certificate and about 20 hrs so far. When and if I get my PPL or at least solo I'll send you the back of my "So what could possibly go wrong" T shirt ! Oh BTW I'm 81 now PS You could send me a "DANGER Old Man With an Airplane ! Big thumbs up!!!!
I’ve seen all your videos, I’m not a pilot just fine them interesting. It’s your personality that I like. Thanks for all those great videos and this one was fun to watch.
I worked in a glass window factory 28 years ago. We made bulletproof glass the was three inches thick. It was for Humvees. I seriously doubt that even the .50 BMG would actually penetrate the whole way through it. Maybe the armor piercing round might have a chance. 😁
Jimmy, you gotta get together with Matt from Demolition Ranch and do a larger scale version of this to see where the threshold of "bulletproofness" is. Will it stop a 9mm? How about a .45? .308? The list goes on. And Matt can help you make ot happen. Lol😂
The tests are done with the windows heated, this allows the window to flex. The cold window is much more brittle
Not mention that the window was near vertical, when in reality the window would be slanted allowing for way more deflection of the projectile. Looks like fun but not realistic.
Well, what’s the air temp at ~35k feet? It’s definitely not warm at that altitude. So, I would say this is a fair test even with the temperature variable
@@saylorj6810 lessee, the standard lapse rate is 2 degree C per 1000 ft.
35,000 ft x 2 = 70. Minus the SL temp of 15C means the temp at 35,000 ft is -55C
At high altitude, the windscreen stays warm enough to keep the ice off (above freezing). There are other factors besides lapse rate involved.
I always wanted to save and purchase a Elvis tag. After you used one for target practice I am having second thoughts. The tags are not cheep (expensive for me) to see one shot at is a little sad to see. Love all you videos but this one hurts me just a tad.
I always liked Jimmy. Seeing him teach a kid firearm safety? I like him even more.
A few things. Birds and bullets both begin with the letter "B", but beyond that, they are not comparable. The windshield really should be angled back more, that will affect impact damage. Finally, I'm sure this video will be deemed unnecessarily violent, wish I could click the "like" button multiple times. This was a fun video to watch.
BOOM! You even had a magic bullet!
Tannerite Please!!! Awesome vid!! I love the big ol boom boom stick!!
Great fun video thanks Jimmy and family
Jimmy's DemolitionRanch started with the private jet windshield!
The sound of freedom 🇺🇲
Awesome Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of my best memories were learning how to shoot! Those 500s are very painful to shoot and not a lot of fun, great job Jimmy! I'd do anything to have as much energy as you do, Jimmy!
Loved this with your family.
Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout--good job, Jimmy, way to blow some stuff up! It was a nice change!
I agree,nothing hotter than a woman with a gun!
Awesome video Jimmy!
Jimmy is dangerous enough with airplanes, now he has guns in his hands. RUN!!!!!
I like this channel even more now.
BEAST MODE EPISODE ...... ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊 ......
Your turning into Kentucky ballistics😅
Love that you're teaching your children how to shoot nice
Jimmy's World takes on Kentucky Ballistics and Demolition Ranch.
Jimmy, it was designed to take a birdstrike at an angle, not straight on. You should’ve turned that window at an angle for all those shots.
@@MooneyPilotalways be "The Bullet " where will I land..ask my kids & Grandkids they live by this rule.
@@MooneyPilot that’s why you invert it to deflect down… Didn’t think I’d have to explain this low level intellect.
Jimmys "wacky" world!!! It looks like you need some range practice!!! Lends new meaning to "plinking"!!! Loved watching you flinch!!!
Dude , focus on the recovery or builds , and not on stupid shorts , love you man
Those were some heavy birds. Loved it, great video sir
That Jimmy was an absolute enjoyable video. Don’t care what some of the comments say i really enjoyed this video.
Going Rabbit hunting.
How big are the Rabbits in your neck of the woods?
I have never enjoyed a Jimmy video more than this one!
Good morning from Minnesota! Outstanding!!
AWESOME, armament and aircraft. The perfect marriage.
Jimmy, that was a great video and getting your kids and family involved was icing on the cake!
Sweet! We need a Demo Ranch / Jimmy's World collaboration now! Or maybe Kentucky Ballistics...
Oh great! Jimmy's demolition ranch! What could go wrong?!!
That's the way to have fun !
If you had let Whistlin Diesel destroy your old RV, it would have gotten millions of views without demonetization. Next time... call Cody. :D
Enjoyable content. Loved seeing your little guy fire the BB gun. The window was pretty tough, I'll admit that.
Another great episode 🎉 thanks Jimmy
So very cool. Jimmy
A little bit of TNT can never be wrong 😆💣💥
Funny… My grandpa name….. Boom Boom. I’m a drummer.
Cant go wrong with Guns n Airplanes!
And the man replied, "Did you remember to defrost the chicken?"
I met Ronnie Barrett, the inventor of the Barrett 50, at the Marine Corps Arms Expo in Quantico years ago, what an interesting character.
effective gun collection!!
Some would ask...why?
The proper question is...why not?
I took a red tail hawk through the windshield of my zenith 750 last year .
I was at 7000 feet cruising about 95 miles an hour, i leaned back over in the back of the plane to grab a water bottle while my head was turned it hit.
Landed right in my lap, with that gaping hole in the windshield I will tell you that is a lot of wind drag with the air rushing in the cabin
I was about 15 miles from the nearest airport, luckily I had auto pilot and it was on so I was able to get things situated and get the bird out of my lap while it was flying itself but landed uneventful, to the rest of the windshield off took The passenger side door off put it in the back of the plane and flew back home 80 miles landed at the house and had it fixed in two days thanks Zenith aircraft overnighting me a windshield
Whew!!
Fantastic video. Hope to see more like.
A while back, a friend taxied back to the hangar. It was an open cockpit Waco. A bird had struck him in the face during flight....luckily he had goggles on. We had to help him out of the plane as he was pretty shaken...his head splattered with bird bits. He was OK.
Whew!
@therealjimmysworld Dude, I fully enjoy all of your content, and I don't believe I have missed even one episode since I subscribed to your channel about 3 years ago! I honestly believe that this one is, BY FAR, the best episode, in my opinion, that you have shared with us!!! Thank you for ALL of the entertainment you provide for us!!!
Now that you have "drawn first blood", I'm thinking that it's about high time that you do a couple of collabs! I'm thinking maybe Kentucky Ballistics and Matt Carriker/Demolition Ranch for starters!!!
Looks like Jimmy's trying to blow off some steel I mean steam 😂. Jimmy what Ever it takes keep flying....
Now that was fun Jimmy!
Had to replace a windshield on a Lear 55 a few years back, $80,000!!!
Really nice educational video!!!! 💥💥
You are having too much fun.
I was pretty sure that SW .500 would plow on through that wibdshield! But damn that was fun watching you shoot it!!! I was worried that .50 BMG might ricochet back at you from that 3 inch steel plate!! Saw a video where that actually happened it came back and hit something on or near the shooter, might of taken his headset ear protectors off. Long time ago video but scary as heck! Im glad you had alot of fun though! Im guessing that area was around Somewhere in the midwest or Kentucky? Nice place! That bowling ball was fun!
I saw that one too. We backed off about 75 yards.
Jimmy amazing video!! On the 50 don’t ride the bolt!!😂
Cool stuff!!
Good times! Safe and responsible fun with fire arms with the family. The family that puts rounds down range together, stays together.
I love this!
Love this
Oh come on I was so waiting for the big shot
The tungsten inside will go through anything.
Love you as always man
You definitely should've went and collaborated with Kentucky ballistics on this.
Pardon the pun but y'all two would've had a blast
I have a .500 S & W magnum revolver. It was designed to knock down a charging bull elephant. So my guess is it goes right thru, depending on the angle.
Sweet. Should have done a colab with the slo-mo guys. 👍🏻
Love it!
Introducing Jimmy 'Elma Fudd'.
Shoooosh we are hunting wabbits heheheheheheheh!
Pretty good shootin there Tex!
Hey Matt !
Cool new aviation dedicated channel :
Demolishaviation Ranch !?
All of a sudden I remember Murdock from A-Team...!!!
Amazing 🤩
That revolver is r e d i c o u l u s . I would never have fired that one being first... The hit was high, so a "6 o'clock sight picture with focus on the front sight" should work out nice. In Norway we call that "a rolling target", meaning that the round black center of the target is visible above the iron sights as the round is fired.
Jimmy playing with big guns! I just gained a whole new level of respect for you!!
The window even though the 50 went through it, is still very impressive, it created a hole, but it didn’t decimate the window.
Why? Because MERICA!
Just goes to show what a lot of rubbish it is when the Media keep saying how dangerous Drones are to Aviation .....
I didn't think it was possible to say this is the most powerful handgun in the world without also asking a punk if it's his lucky day.
I can’t believe I forgot that line!!!!!
I'm 30 seconds in and I hate to do it to ya Jimmy, but I think your content and I are going to part ways. It's not that I don't like the bang sticks or the airplanes, but I kind of try to keep those two realms in different videos. I wish you well, friend. TH-cam is so desperate for good content that it will undoubtedly shove a video of yours in my feed if it turns out to be a banger which will remind me to check out your progress. FWIW, it's not just the mixing of the bang sticks, but the direction of the channel as a whole. Safe flying.
Also Jimmy, I have a Dyke Delta JD2. A very unique versatile homebuilt you would love if you checked them out. I have one in east Tennessee if you would like to see it or fly it.
Very cool!
You should do some mythbusters stuff every now and then! It’s good content
