    This is really fascinating. Have you considered doing the Strawberry Line that, I believe, ran from Yatton to Evercreach passing through Wells and Shepton Mallet Somerset.

    This line was loved by the late Sir John Betchamen (Poet Laureate). There’s even a u tube film of him on this line in the early sixties.

    My father lived in Meare and when he was a lad used to walk 2 miles to Ashcott Station and catch the train into Burnham for a day out at the seaside and perhaps see a film at cinema. This was circa 1940/2. He would have loved to see this short film. Thanks for sharing it.

    Fantastic, as always! It's amazing how so many areas surrounding the route have barely changed in 139 years, but others are almost unrecognizeable. Your video also shows the truly special nature, and the geographical extent, of the Somerset Levels. Thank you, bravo!
