With the switch to the left Time Shadow's controls are completely the brainchild of EarthQuaker Devices resident genius Jamie Stillman. Flip the switch to the right, and you enter the head of the madman Oliver Ackermann from Death By Audio barely clutching to reality. Place the switch in the middle and enter a whole new realm of pitch warping delays brought to you by a telepathic mind-meld with a 5th dimensional dream being.
All three sounds are wildly different from each other and yet share a perfectly designed harmony to be completely complementary and suitable for every style and genre of music. The EarthQuaker Devices side transforms whatever you play into the sound of a jazz space bazooka! It's a pitch morphed fuzz delay filter with so much attitude that you are actually intimidated. It takes the input signal, blows it out with power of digital distortion, blends it with a polyphonic sub octave, feeds it into a delay, then spits it out into a highly resonant envelope controlled lowpass filter. The Death By Audio side is a multi-delay filter remorphinator that goes from icy shimmers to cosmic space caves of bouncing repeats. The middle position is an energy beam that brings your earthly transmissions repetitively closer to the heavens while simultaneously diving deep into the hells.
In addition to all this madness we also bring you a user assignable expression jack and 6 preset slots to save and recall your favorite settings!

Sort of. the Delay time is longer and it has two moving pitches. One that goes up in Major Thirds and one the goes down in cents.

Now that you've updated the resonant delay, its time to update the resonant reverb with a dip switch to switch the expression from freq to warp.
The staff has been asking for a Transmisser update as well. Still no real news on that over here. Maybe one day in a future non-post apocalyptic world (Thanks to this full production version of the Time Shadows) this can happen.
I'm usually into weird sounds and stuff, but I don't know about this one... think a blend/depth control could be nice...

In the other hand and from a graphic design point of view... those blocks used to support the labels of the controls are messing with the design a lot... since the "T" from the V1 is gone from the design, the swirling pattern should have take over the front plate and used an outline stroke to separate the font and the design... IMO
P.S: Must say the bass section sounds sick af!!

This pedal seems very cool. Very unique and so many different sounds. The only thing i wish guitar pedals like this had is the ability to automate parameters. But.. the expression control sure does a lot in that regard. I want one.
You can sort of automate parameters through the preset control. set up a few presets you like and move between them by turning the preset control.

After dirt, before anything else. Or before dirt, before anything else. Maybe even after everything, after everything else, but for most people in between dirt and modulation is probably best.
