- On the day of bad luck we had, you guessed it, bad luck with riding everything at Six Flags New England! Lines may have been nonexistent, but several were closed, leading to very few attractions we were successfully able to get on!

Batman: The Dark Knight is all right, as noted in the video. Maybe not a world-class ride by today's standards, certainly not in the same tier as Superman and Wicked Cyclone, but it's fun. It does kind of thin out rapidly beyond that.

I would honestly consider Batman, Riddler, and before it was removed, Goliath to be very solid supporting coasters. I know everyone hated Goliath, but I loved it and will always stand by the opinion that it was the 3rd best coaster in the park
When you said it was almost one hundred degrees out, I was in morbid shock considering southern new England in November is often mid 40s. Luckily this was filmed a few months ago

Still baffles me this park has 2 boomerangs, let alone them being literally right next to each other. 🤣🤣 Six flags is just “interesting” 🤦♂️🤷♂️
I was at SFNE in National Rollercoaster Day 3 days after you went. Shame that I didn't get to meet you and Sarah.

That was fun! Wicked Cyclone was our first RMC hybrid back in 2016 before we got on Twisted Timbers this year. Keep up the great work, you all were some of the many TH-camrs that got us through 2020. We appreciate your videos and passion for coasters. My husband said the same thing, and we both loved the addition of Sara(h)? I don't know if she uses the H. But she's a good time!
Odd thing here but this seems like an appropriate video to mention it on. Superman gets a lot of hate for it's lap bars, and it has from you and Sarah, so you should probably know why they're like that, and it's because due to its location they had no choice. I'm sure you know, even if you haven't mentioned it, about the accident on Superman in 2004 when a man was ejected and died, when that happened there was a bunch of legal stuff and the Intimin T-Bar was actually outlawed in MA, so Superman has to go with those bricks.

This year in late august I went to this park and I had bad luck too, it was crazy hot, most of my favorite rides were closed, even superman, and my legs were in so much pain considering all the walking around,
I never got to ride Goliath more than once cuz it was down way too much.

My home park, the SLC is actually good tho, also when Goliath was open, it’s lighting package was just as cool as pandemonium.

The food at Six Flags New England is pretty bad. Maybe the steakhouse is good, but I don’t eat beef. Everything else is like: here, have some crappy pizza on top of some soggy fries. The nacho stand is ok, because it’s hard to screw up gas station nachos.
Sucks about Thunderbolt and Superman, but I agree: the Batman coaster is really flipping good and everyone dumps on it and it’s like “guys… the stupid Goliath is right there, and the Riddler coaster used to be called Mind Eraser, probably because it would inevitably give you a concussion by stopping short at the end…” but Wicked Cyclone is the freaking best.
Interesting that you were that impressed by Batman: TDK. It kind of gets overlooked. Until shortly before I visited SFNE, I assumed it was one of the Batman clones--only belatedly noticed that it wasn't. I haven't actually ridden any other B&M floorless coasters, but my impression of it was that it was a solid ride, just a bit overshadowed by SFNE's mind-blowing top two. At many parks it would be considered one of the highlights of the park.
Trivia fact: the biggest roller coaster in India (Nitro at Imagicaa) seems to be a near-clone of Batman: The Dark Knight, only slightly larger with a better first drop and an extra turn at the end.
I'm sorry you had back luck at Six Flags New England, and too bad you didn't go on the rides that you wanted. At least this was filmed 3 months ago.

All the bad luck so happened to be the first half of the day and all the good stuff happened to be on the second half. You could of just left half way through the day cause how unlucky it was bu you stayed a little longer and look what happened lol.

On Friday March 13th, 2020 I was scheduled to fly from NY to FL for vacation but then the Covid pandemic happened and everything was closed so we ended up not going. Do you think booking a flight on Friday the 13th was a bad idea or do you think that's just a myth?
It definitely seems like confirmation bias to me. Think about it this way - someone reminds you it's friday the 13th, and you start noticing weird stuff happening (which, to be frank, isn't any different than any normal day) and then you tell yourself there's a connection. But let's say someone DIDN'T remind you that it's Friday the 13th - you wouldn't even make the connection
to add to that, let's say you book your flights a week earlier on the 8th of March - your flights would still have been cancelled right? (what I meant to say is the pandemic would have happened regardless of you booking that flight, so you'd have likely cancelled regardless of when you booked the flights)
@@ChrisInIndy06 I booked it around thanksgiving 2019 so at the time I booked it I had no idea there was going to be a worldwide pandemic that March.
@@kevingreen5793 yeah, I gotcha now, have been ripping the bong this morning so I misread it. Independent of when it was booked and your flights were scheduled, the pandemic was going to have occurred (not that anyone could have predicted it). I dunno, I just don't really believe in one day having any likelihood of an increase occurrence of weird stuff happening compared to any other day just because of the particular date. If you would have scheduled your flights for March 20th it would have had the same outcome right?
@@ChrisInIndy06 right it would’ve happened anyway. But if I would’ve booked it for March 20th I probably would’ve canceled it a week before instead of the day before so it quite would’ve been as bad but still sucked.
