Thanks for watching man :) I really enjoyed this review! It was in fact in one take, without any snap to grid or sample replacement :) also you got one strong beard sir 🙌🏻🤘🏻
Bro im honored you watched! My video! Holy s***! And best believe im checking out your entire project. Thank you for inspiring me and motivating me to be a better drummer!
He also works with Nick Sampson producer/guitarist and mastermind behind I am Abomination which Chris also drums for. Passion of the Heist II by them is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard.
I like how you described what he's doing and why he would do them instead of saying "I do it this way, he shouldn't play that way." The insight of how you would play and adding your thoughts to his play style is a nice thing to hear. Definitely check out his Initial C video he dropped. Probably my favorite one.
Hey thanks! Yes I'm definitely not here to critique. Checking out such amazing talent is a learning lesson for me and my reactions are largely me synthesizing what im seeing. I like seeing different approaches to this beautiful craft and I appreciate how different playstyles can achieve different things. It looks like im going to need to start a playlist of Chris turner reactions haha
Thanks for checking out my recommendation, man! Chris Turner is surely a beast drummer. His 40 Roll solo was the first time I was introduced to Chris Turner. Someone, to me, who is quite inspirational due to the use of a small kit back in the day is El Estepario Siberiano. He does a lot of drum covers. My 2 favorites by him are Dream Theater - The Enemy Inside with single pedal and Lindsey Stirling - Underground. Look forward to more videos, have a beautiful time!
Great reaction video! Your subscriber count will go up quickly. Would love to see you react to some of the new Matt Garstka play throughs, although I’m sure you’ve seen them (Red Miso, Micro-Agressions, etc) Chris Turner with Thomas Lang- triggered, is a must watch.
Thanks so much for this comment. I've seen several videos of Matt but i garuantee there is still plenty for me to check out with him so i will definitely do that. I also noticed Thomas Lang on triggered and told myself when it's time for another Chris reaction that video definitely had to be next
Just found your channel and I immediately subscribed. Your reactions are really insightful and I’m always trying to pick up tidbits and perspectives from different drummers. You may have already seen some of these, but since you’re looking for recommendations: Danny Carey’s “Pneuma” drum cam is a must; Jan Mato (Distant) playthrough of “The Eternal Lament”; II (Sleep Token) playthrough of “Hypnosis”; any playthrough from Evgeny Novikov (Slaughter to Prevail) and Baard Kolstad (Leprous). Excited to see more from you in the future!
Yea, this video is nuts, I see others have recommended Triggered, but you should also try his Oceans Ate Alaska - Escapist playthrough, it's pretty amazing imo.
very good reaction please keep going like that and stick to the genre . falling in reverse bmth slipknot reactions would be nice ^^ just do the whole pattern ^^

Dude, I'm so glad you looking at everyone reacting. Great album Chris. When is the next one! 🤟
yo, you're sick dude. Also I love Passion of the Heist II, one of my favorite albums of all time!
Chris is literally in the comment section of every single video made about him! Awesome dude for taking time out of your day to engage with fans!
Excellent analysis! I love the insight
Appreciate this a ton!
I can't stop seeing this

I will do my best to provide good content
Roadie? What's that? lol
Its someone that is paid to set up the gear for the band members for live performances.
@@DrumlionMusic It was a joke, because I've never had a roadie.
@@iamvulgar8188 lol my bad. I feel you on that. Never had one either
