Good reaction but "you love how tasteful his fills are" the drum part isnt written by him. He was a touring musician. Would have been cool to see you at least mention the legendary vitek who's one of the best drummers to ever grace metal

drum part was written by Vitek. Vogg (the guitar players) brother, who died in a tour bus crash. Their vocalist was also left permanently brain damaged. Biggest tragedy in metal history, that and Dimebag's death

My guess is that one mic is probably a condenser and the other a dynamic. People do this in studio. A condenser catches the weight and body or 'meat' of the snair. The dynamic is a higher frequency. Or theure the same mic, and they probably put a noise gate or something on one and process the shit out of it, and then mix the singals. Im not 100 percent sure honestly. I've definitely seen other drummers do this live.

I love how ppl say Sepultura was done when Max left... This is EASY one of the best songs by them.

Bobby started as a righty and taught himself open handed so that he didn't have to do cross overs when being musical, as in adding toms during beats. The craziest part tho, he splits his double bass drumming so that his right foot does say, 1 and, the left foot does, e ah. He will even start beats on his left foot to keep this pattern going 🤯
