I’d like to hear Adam more in the mix with that bass intro /riff
Thanks for the great Video. I was on the same day also there. Also on the same side standing on the Stage. Was a great show. Greetings Peter
Really cool hearing them play this again. Thank you for capturing this.
Awesome to revisit great songs !
It was last played in 1985, not 83. But 38 years...amazing
I think 40 was meant to be a round number in this case. Close enough.
He can’t remember but he was close not completely off his rocker 😆
He also probably played it in rehearsal, you should point that out as well. 🤔
On the Joshua Tree tour they played Seconds
@@DarkMan267 , the last tour on which they played it was The Unforgettable Fire (1985), according to the U2 Tours site.
I remember seeing u2 in Toronto and I was like so close as close as this cameraman was and I saw the edge walk by me. I saw bono walk by me. I saw Adam Clayton walked by me and I was just starstruck. I couldn’t believe it I mean I was so close to them and I’ve been such a fan for such a long time and their music has such a big impact on me I’ll never forget that moment I really wish they would come to Toronto but I guess they’re stuck in a multi million dollar contract in Vegas
One of my favourite songs off U2's brilliant War album from 1983!
Classic U2!!
I would lose my damn mind 🔥
seconds: Music for my ears!!
Fucking wow!
Caralhooo! F*** amazing!
Great to hear. Even if they sort of cut it short and didnt sing the entire song ("in an apartment of time square/you can assemble them anywhere....etc.)
Whoever was recording what number were you? I swear I was right next to you .I was number 58.😊😂
Hi, Samantha! I don't remember what number I was that night. I went to 6 gigs. Glad we got to see this!
@ I was there on that day November 3. I would’ve kept all my wristbands. I was lucky enough that I got to attend that day, which was so memorable. the only reason why I was asking cause I heard somebody sing the second verse and I swore that sounded like me 😩🤪.
While it is neat they pulled this put of the bag it was obviously a spur of the moment thing. Hope this pushes them to actually do it properly
Oh yes indeed!!! This one was nearly a teaser, so hopefully they play the entire song! Whish they could have played 'A sort of Homecoming ' aswell. And that i hope the version they played in the 80s not the one the played on the Joshua tree tour 2017. That was the synthesizer version
That was awesome. Onm the 260 tour they worked up Drowning Man! It was perfect. NEVER PLAYED IT for an audience!

Song the whole song if you can still remember it.
I really wish they would play “Tomorrow” … or perhaps they have and I didn’t catch it.
I hope they play Fire next
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Watch the ending of Season 1 of The Walking Dead:Daryl Dixon for the recorded version to be played! My jaw dropped!
They played that song at the Red Rocks 1983
😮

They needed merry Mullen to hit this one right. Last played Belgium, July '85 I think, don't know. It used to be the 3rd number on the UF Tour after Tick & Follow. Bono had great intros to it back then ..."A message to the Prime MINISTER, a message to the PRESIDENTe!"
Aug 25th Ireland according to setlist fm
Daryl saved this song
a bono ser le olvido su estrofa que iba. jajajajajaja
Imagine sitting within hearing range of the lady singing off key. ugh
I was disappointed in its sound and distorted voices in the background.
Maybe your cellphone would have recorded it better. 😂✌
One if the most boring bands in the world.
Yet people from all over the world to see them. You're entitled to your shit opinion.
