- Animated How to Play for Evolution: Climate board game by North Star Games using wonderful Stikfas figures in stop motion.
It seems that I’ve made an error. While discarding a trait card from a species, put it into the discard pile. Do not put it face down under the draw pile.
While writing the script my eyes skipped down to the next paragraph in the rule book and I forgot to talk about discarding unwanted cards from your hand. Those are the cards you put under the draw pile.

Awesome explanation and video! One small rule thing though, they aren't technically herbivores, if you trigger something that would share meat food, they can eat it. Just the carnivores can't eat anything triggered by plants, if I remember right. Thinking about it though that is kind of an edge case rule.

That's some pretty high praise, but I'm worth it! LOL
Worth noting: if a Cold Snap or Heat Wave event card is triggered, you resolve the event only and ignore the "normal" climate effects (i.e. the population loss and food adjustments due to the climate level).

One problem that i have with this game is with the climate events.... they never seem to trigger that much, i have played this game maybe 6 times and i have just trigger 2 EVENT cards in my entire playthrough of those 6 games.
I know im randomly asking but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?

would you recommend getting the conversion version or is it better to have it as a stand-alone and separate from the original?

You can split Evolution: Climate into the base cards if you want, though you just have to ignore some extra text on the cards.
There's a thread on BGG asking this exact question, most people are in favour of just getting climate.

Those are reallu cool Figures. Did you made them? Or where did you buy them?
The figures are an old toy line called Stikfas. Hence the name Stikfa-mations. They have been out of business for awhile. You can still find old figures for sale on the internet.
