Hello, I have a rather urgent question. I performed a "low" quality treatment (cloud, alignment...etc). If I want to switch to "high" quality, is there a way to reuse the work done in low quality to reduce the working time or do I have to redo everything from the beginning in high quality? Thanks.
Unfortunately, if you ran the alignment on low, you will need to rerun it on high if that is what you want. Then, you will have to redo the rest of the workflow.
@@alexelvisbadillo @Justyna Jeziorska Thanks for answer. For example, if i add photos in order tjo optimize the result in some places where there are a lack of details, so i should start again or there is a solution to maintain the current result and just modify that place. Thank you so much.
@@alexelvisbadillo @Justyna Jeziorska Thank you so much. I got a last question, i have a very large surface to modelize, so i divided it to parts. So i have to fusion them, i tried with metashape, it doesnt give good results, i would like to manipulate manually the two parts and regroup them, is there any easy way to do it with another software? Thank you again !
Go to the photo pane, view them as a list instead of thumbnails. Image quality will be one of the columns of information. You can quickly sort from best to worst.
Hi Alex..please help me, I am stuck with one thing...after all processiing I have done, before exporting model, my textured object looks beautiful and crispy...after exporting it, when I open it with 3d viewer- it's just all grey, looking like solid model without any details....what could it be? thanks
Sometimes, this happens to me when I try to open in Autodesk Recap photo. When I export the file I make sure that there is no spaces or special characters in the file name. Also, ensure that in the export dialogue that the texture is also exporting.
@@alexelvisbadillo thanks...I noticed that in the last step- before exporting, when u tickle that boxes - jpg, png, tiff- randomly one works- giving u nice, detailed and colourfull model at the very end, the others not ....so before doing export- it is good to save the project - and from that stage to export in all variants- jpg, then png and tiff....one of them should work 🤣🤣🤣
Whats the best way to share these models once you've completed them? I need a way to share my models with our engineers with some basic measurement features. Sadly I cant just send them the viewer as they can't load additional software without CIA(or as good as) clearance.
You could export the models as a pdf. I believe there are measurement tools within adobe. Or even have them open the model in 3d viewer or 3d builder. Both are free with windows.
@@alexelvisbadillo Thanks. But sady "have them open the model in 3d viewer or 3d builder. Both are free with windows" both of these are software packages, even if they are free(price isnt the issue), I need something web based that I can just share a link to. And my models are pretty large mostly being opencut mine high walls or the like.
It is incredibly frustrating that Agisoft completely changed the workflow order and some names.. makes following tutorials confusing. Why on earth did they do this?!?
Dude you are a legend. You just saved me a century to learn the workflow 💀
Please keep sharing your expertise. You are leaving a legacy!

I cant view the chunks on the left side Please help
Sounds like the workspace has been closed out. Try going to the view tab and then clicking on workspace.

Did they change the name of dense cloud to something else? I am stuck there
