Welcome! I hope you all enjoy this video! I tried something a bit different. It starts with an epic piece of intro music for your listening pleasure, then it settles into soft ambient music for the rest of the hour as you work, study and relax. Enjoy!
@Futurescapes-SciFiAmbience I think it's great but maybe you could also make some pieces where they have this epic cadence throughout? (similar to Glacier 😁)
Being hopelessly stranded in a planet now beyond Earth's cosmological horizon. Just me, the endless marine sky and the deafening silence of a newly formed exoplanet. That's the ultimate male fantasy.
when you wander around in No Man's Sky, you often receive a stress signal, when you arrive at the source, you either find someone stranded with a pod and successfully rescue them, or you see the remains of the space traveler and replay his recording for pieces of information on what happened.
"This is Amanda Ripley. Sending a transmission from Svestopol Station. I got separated from the crew when I arrived and there's seemingly no one else on board the station itself. I've gone too far to stop now and I need to find answers. I need to find out what happened to my mother and Svestopol has the answers..hopefully. This is Ripley...signing off."
Okay, I've been sitting here for I don't know how long trying to come to grips with the absolute enormity of this disaster, wallowing in self-pity. We followed the protocol. But shit happens and we all knew that. We all trained to be prepared for the worst possible scenario. I'm nothing if not a problem solver. It's going to start getting dark soon, so let me see what I can use to create some kind of shelter for the night. Tomorrow I'll go search out the supplies and equipment that were all sent on ahead of us. I'll begin the task that we were all sent here to do, create the beginnings of a permanent community. There's a kind of peace here I'm starting to feel. I can build a sustainable life here. I can learn how to live here with the stars as my companions.
- I've got nothing, Captain. - Keep searching. A rescue pod simply does not just disappear. - We've already scanned this moon twice, Captain. Even if this moon is the likeliest destination for Burton, the pod is not here. - Alright. Let's search the next moon. That escape pod must be _somewhere_ among these moons. - What's the estimated remaining oxygen supply of that pod type? - 27 hours, Captain. - We do single scans from now on to cover more ground. - Yes, sir. Setting course to Travetus 3c
I've only recently stubbled across your channel Brett and can say whole heartedly this is some of the best soundscapes/scores in this space, the production value in terms of audio and visual are immense. Wishing you all the best! 🌠🪐
I love how this ambient gives me the "Get ready for battle!" type vibe, and it's very energetic. Thank you Futurescapes for uploading the epic space ambient music. It's truly an unique music. 🧡🧡🔥🔥🌈🌈✨✨⚡⚡
I'm in an endless loop of wondering what could have been and hating the choice I made. As the stars gather in the sky and the surface temperature drops, I crawl back into my lonely, scorched drop pod for the night. The wrinkled exterior won't seal so I can't remove my helmet, but this is far better than the windy exposure of the planet's barren waste. I flip on the auxiliary power and couple the cockpit tanks to my pack. After tonight, I'll have three days of air left... at most. Settling in, I flip on the replay monitor inside my cracked visor to further torture myself. I rewind the recording and see the fire raging in the hallways of the corsair. Jameson and Crosby futilely spray extinguishing gel as a hazteam enters the engine room. Then an explosion rocks the ship from the mech bay. The ship's alarms blare an evacuation warning as several of us fortunate enough to be closest to the drop pods struggle inside. A surge of fire shoots up the hallway as I close the door and fumble with my straps. Then she pounds on the glass, it's Sara and her eyes are wide with terror. I can let her in... there's room for two... there might be time. But as another series of explosions rock the ship, I pull the jettison lever and launch to the planet below. Moments later, it blows. I rewind the playback to her pleading stare and pause. There was room for two.
I love the constant level of care you pour into each Futurescapes post, sir. The art, the description, the communication, and of course, the music. This really is a special community you are building here, Brett.
Awesome, I agree :) I love all the creative positive people that are here. Makes me all the more excited to make new content and respond to people :) It goes both ways!@@SacredLightStudios
The epic beginning is really exquisite. Honestly, I thought it would be reappearing throughout the song...on the other hand, too much grandiosity and epic motives could be too much... Anyway after the epic start I feel some kind of deficiency of some more distinctive, repetitive motif 🌠
Pffft, that so reminds me of the original Magic School Bus ep Gets Lost in Space, when Arnold's crazy cousin Janet made the bus rocket dive into Jupiter's red spot to get a sample of the gas to prove she'd been there, while one of the other students begged her to pull up...! XD After pulling out of Jupiter: "JANET!!" "Relax, guys; if you've been to Jupiter, you've got to have proof, right??" "I _knew_ I should've stayed home today!" LMAO
"All Futurescapes music is composed originally without the use of AI" well thanks for pointing that out because this shit is driving me paranoid af, not a day passes without TH-cam recommending a slob channel of a "1h mix of whatever", mid journey illustration (often sexist), AI music (without telling you), chatGPT description (completely over the top), no credits, few hundred subscribers, recent channel with about a video a day and a comment in Russian. We're slowly entering a time where we won't be able to tell what's real and what isn"t, and TH-cam isn't helping.

good to change things up. i didn't understand why at first but by the second movement i understood. might be skip bait in a playlist though :(

Awa man I hope rescue is on the way poor guy
Me too! @@kh9242
For sure! Just trying something different but I love the ones that have epic sections throughout :)@@abysmal7000
Yes! The start of this felt like getting a surprise lost track from Meraki! Love this upload.
Thank you! I love that :) Thanks for your support, it means a lot to me! As always, much more to come and glad to have you in the community!

Ya there’s something so freeing and peaceful about it!
Is it? Mines going out with about a pound of blow and at least six hookers.
Absolutely, but maybe I'd have my faithful Border Collie with me.
Gotta love those lush pads, nice one! 💟👏
Thank you! :)

I play No Man’s Sky and enjoy listening to this music. It suits drifting in space or discovering a beautiful planet.
Here is something for everyone: *"Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come."*
thanks you have successfully derailed me into listening to BTS's yet to come now
This music is the power of feeling!

you on mushrooms gurl?
With the waiting supplies, I feel like this stranded astronaut has a good shot at surviving - and who knows, maybe others survived the crash? :O)
Love it! Even with those kind of supplies, maybe they can survive and have a life there, even if they’re alone. Reminds me of The Martian :)
😂
Thank you once again ❤️ It is such a joy and privilege to experience your music
Thank you! Glad you like it :)
I love the feeling of loneliness I get from this. True escape from it all.
For me, it gives that "Get ready for battle!" feeling. 😅👍
Aloneness or loneliness.
For sure :)
Beautiful 🤎🤎🤎
