What in the world, that is an absolute insane match from start to finish. These two guys left it all on the court, and what an absolute treat to watch. Cassius has insanely good defense, and is just so solid and powerful all around. Jeez, the margins are just razor thin at this level. I think Niels if can find like 2ft of extra depth on his balls, he'll be unstoppable.
Some very high level tennis here and some great tennis played. Both of them will become top level college players for sure and pros for sure. The only difference between them was Casius just played the big points in the breaker a little better and Niels let frustration get the better of him just a little in the end. Cant wait to see these two face off again and to see their college tennis journey over the next few years. Kudos guys👊
What a blockbuster of a match! Insane levels of tennis! Loved the touch at the net from Niels, and the couple of dunk-shots from Cassius. Well played both! Go Bruins!
Incredible match from two flat out awesome players! Some of the best baseline rallies I've seen on the channel. Cassius seems to have an awesome mental game. You could see him buckle down when he was down 6-3 including not being afraid to get into his opponents head with the underhand serves. Niels net game let him down a bit today, but he is an outstanding player nonetheless. As always, Winston's channel just flat out brings it!
Cassius has amazing groundstrokes, penetrating with pace, and fast feet. He had multiple jumping groundstrokes which shows his great timing and made it entertaining to watch. Niels has a big first serve but seems to really need time on the forehand which he rolls too much. Great job to both and look forward to seeing their improvement
What an absolute slug-fest, haha. Incredible play and very funny commentary from the players between points. It's wild to watch players with 12.4 UTR from this angle because part of your brain goes "well surely it's not possible to be much better at playing tennis than this..." And then you remember that Alcaraz has a UTR of like 16.3, lol
These two are the most alethic and talented players that I have seen on your channel. I thought the match was playing at 1.5x speed. Better than a pro match.
great content. these guys know each others game very well. very high standard of base line tennis. both of them need to come to the net more often. what a grind ; a pleasure to watch. best of luck to the both of them. future is bright for these guys.
Incredible playing from these two guys. Their movement is fantastic. Makes me really think about taking the fundamentals you learn when starting and then just building on those. Progressing with intensity over time and hopefully resulting in mastery. Niels can predict the ball movement so well and yet has a strong stable stance. Cassius brings a nimble spark to his footwork with electric groundstrokes. Love this backhand return from him here 5:59 then hits another similar here 7:02 Can learn so much from these guys. Thanks Winston. Literally watching it over again cause it's just so good!
best match i've watched in a long time on the internet. cool to know these guys are good friends. as a high school tennis coach and about a 4.0 player myself-i couldn't get over how well both of these guys move. their footwork seemed flawless. tough stuff for sure-i'm going to have my team watch this one when we all get together in a few weeks. congrats to both players and good luck in your future.
Thats some high quality tennis! Even more entertaining than pro tennis in some respects, just being able to see/hear the players personalities through out the video . Incredible
What a battle! These guys do play similar, with Cassius seemingly looking to dictate more closer to the baseline. Looks like both are on the verge of becoming more all court players and finishing more points at the net
You can really tell these guys have played a number of times, know each other’s games well. Nothing much between them, it was impossible to tell who was going to win the match. In these types of matches it’s just about being a competitor.
Dang this was such a good watch. Can’t wait to follow them through college tennis. Longhorns fan here but will cheer for both of them (until they play our Horns 😂)
Very even between these two. I think cassius has a little more power on his shots and dictates play a bit more aggressively, but not much separating over all.
What I love about these types of videos is how much it shows us club players who think we can bang that there are levels we cannot touch with a 100 ft pole. I literally cannot swing as hard (swinging as fast as I can, never mind getting the ball in) as their average forehands. 😢😂
Winston, i think it'd be cool to ask these younger guys who their favorite players are (on tour or all time). or even who they model their games after. just a little suggestion for the pre-game interviews
Hitting too much spin and not enough drive, resulting in a slow, loopy shot. Usually happens when you get tight/nervous and are afraid of over-hitting the ball so you overcompensate.
It's very interesting... this is obviously high level tennis and the action is fast paced, but when I watch pros it seems like the action actually slows down?
To enter the qualifying you need to be at around 220 in the world. Current #220 in the world is a 14.5. There are guys ranked higher with lower UTRs (~14.2), but 14.5 would be a good estimate.
@@BriasRocks I don't think it is a pro stock, it looks like he is just playing w/ a Blade Pro. It's a completely different racquet - different mold & layup. It's got a constant box beam shape w/ a higher swing weight. Blade Pro has more power and plays like a traditional control frame, it's a demanding but rewarding racquet. The regular Blade is more of a modern control frame w/ an aerodynamic elliptical beam.
@@padflash Yep I see the differences now. I agree he probably does have a v9 pro which essentially is the pro stock. I have the v9 16x19 phenomenal racket
Probably the closest match I have seen on the channel. High quality tennis.
Cassius has some sick footwork
he's a freakin energizer bunny

Yeah, when Niels showed his frustration after that volley at 5-3 in the tiebreak, I thought the match was basically over.
The best first point I've ever seen on your channel, Winston!
Both of them said they were baseline players and then the first point is an awesome net game point! 😆
@@davebeery_youtube Haha. True!
Niels is one laid back guy. I used to get so pissed when I lost a close match. Takes it in good stride.
He was a bit frustrated lol
@@WinstonDu man I would be too lmao
What match did you watch? His weak mental is why he lost. He tanked a lot of the points due to frustration.
@@zanido9073 Relax pal. He would kick your ass.

Those evenly matched UTRs wasn't kidding, super tight match!

Great playing, and gotta say I enjoy the candid remarks and laughs at the end
They both are amazing. It's very fun! Thanks a lot. Cheers to both of you guys.

Awesome stuff guys, thanks for sharing the match.
Love this matchup! Cassius has incredible wheels. So fun when players are this close in level. Please have more of these guys, Winston!
Yea I’m hyped for this one! Gonna be marking my calendar and making this video the first thing I watch in the morning 🤩

Not only incredible players but also great and humble characters. This is what tennis is all about.

These 2 are seriously talented. Future pro's for sure
Awesome match. Baseline rallies were fun to watch. Both have lot of power.
Cassius’s forehand is formidable! Probably mainly because his footwork is so smooth!
wow what a game, more of this please
Amazing just a fantastic job fellas! It’s hotter than hell out there and you fellas are teeing off at the highest levels! Thank you fellas!
Cassius Agassi taking that ball so early and aggressively. So much fun
Probably my favorite match on this channel by far, would love to see a rematch for sure.
You should check out the majeed vs giovanni match from 2 years ago on Winston's channel. Also epic.
Holy shit. Really bummed for Niels. His loss physically hurt me but Cassius did his thing. Great match
Big Ten foes (USC vs UCLA) going at it hard in the paint! Great stuff! 🎾❤👍
"Big Ten stalwarts USC and UCLA" will never not sound weird. RIP Pac-10/12.
Sick games. Good stuff as always. Would love to see a match up with Dylan vs Cassius
Me too
Super high quality right from the first three points. Such a banger
Really well matched players hitting bangers from the baseline. College tennis is so fun to watch 😍💪
these guys play awesome, what a treat, seems they have a good relationship with each other too

3 or 4 underarm serves - always a weapon
Wow !!! HUGE Tennis !!!
Sheesh Cassius is speedy af
What a match!!! Would rank this right up there with Karue vs Govind
Nice and close match! Can someone explain what “rolling” means?
Means spinning the ball and slowing the pace down instead of driving through with it

Ok now THAT was a set of tennis.

What does Neils mean by rolling?
Hitting too much spin and not enough drive, resulting in a slow, loopy shot. Usually happens when you get tight/nervous and are afraid of over-hitting the ball so you overcompensate.

What type of UTR would a player need to be a qualifier for the US Open?
Probably somewhere around 14.5-15 if they’re playing qualifying purely from ranking
