What would you have grabbed at the auction? I know this is a but of a different video for me but I have been doing this for years especially during the summer months! I hope you enjoyed!
I love your ingenuity and your focus/intention. I would keep the Bernhard sofa too. It's beautiful. I enjoy seeing your husband and son help. It shows teamwork and their support. I'm impressed with your knowledge of your market and marketing sense. 🤩
Thank you so much! Oh yes I know it's usually just my face on here but it is a family effort. My kids like to flip their own pieces and save the money. It's a great side hustle skill to have! Thanks for watching!
I loved them all but I think you need to up your prices a bit. These stool would seal easily for at least $60each in my area and your velvet pink chairs would go for at least $300ea here. I loved the sofa you kept!
The auction house auctions I've looked at end up with sky high prices - quadruple or more what you paid. I'd love to know how you find auctions that don't go crazy high!
I watch them all the time! Some times if you can find the auction on an odd day (tues/wed) or a busy day when there are a lot of auctions peoples bids seem to be more spread out.
Another great job, Kara❣️. The couch. That you kept was my fave, but those pink chairs turned out nice! 😃. Not quite ready to do the auction thing yet, but maybe one day? 😉-Jill
I loved the green couch !!! And the pink chairs !! My question is how do you find the auctions ? Are they online ? But you still have to pick up the pieces so how far did you have to go to pick them up ?
Most everything is online. I google auctions in my area and usually I'll get some sites that show up. I pick up pieces each week. I usually go 20 min max from my house but that is the benefit of living in Dallas. Thanks for watching!
I’m outside Omaha Nebraska and selling stuff here is tough. People here are CHEAP!! You can have a $200 item listed for $50 and people will still ask you to take $40, $30. Absolutely LOW ballers and if that’s not bad enough, they’ll flake out entirely. It’s aggravating
Great finds and so glad you were able to make such a good profit. I love the sofa you kept for yourself. Also, great job on the arched cabinets, they turned out beautifully.
Great flips! What did you end up doing to the entryway/ sofa table! I see these in the cub all the time and pass up, because I never know what to do with them.
OMG....LOVE THIS. Since it is just me, not sure if this is something I could do. Smaller furniture, yes, but sofas, probably no. Congrats on this success. Sherry :)
I love watching the auction sites in my area but they take terrible pictures! I’ve ended up with buyers remorse more than once! Lol! I loved the video and hope y’all are doing well! ❤
I love all of the items you grabbed…I can’t believe you got them for next to nothing! 🤯 I’m a little over an hour outside of Austin & I KNOW I could sell those types of items. I would love to see how you fixed up your own home. It really looks amazing from what I have seen. 🌺
How much do you charge for impersonal lessons on all of these things if I fly down there Andy and it would you be okay I'm a teacher I can show you background report or something?or zoom?
Hi Rachel! I do offer sessions like this over on my Patreon page. The "sweetest" level is a personal zoom call. You can check out my Patreon here! Thanks! patreon.com/lemonstolemonadefurniture
Would love to see the finished product of what you’ve done. My parents had vintage rosé coloured chairs, very comfortable. I would have picked the rosé coloured chair, since very nostalgic for me.
What a great idea to make extra as a flipper. Idk if there are even online auctions like this in my area. I sort of doubt it but I’m gonna try and search for it and see what I come up with. I’m wondering how you advertise for your flipped pieces on FM market. A video with that would be much appreciated! Thank you lemons! 🍋 😎
I love to flip those what I call granny chairs! I just sold a mauve set recently. I bought them for $40 and flipped for $100 because they were in really rough shape.
Very interesting, as always. I live in Birmingham Alabama not a whole lot of furniture in the few auctions that I found on that site. A little elbow grease gets you some great profits!
You are so creative and such a hard worker. I enjoy your videos so much. But I cringe every time you say eckspecially🥺Please, please elevate your speech to match your talent🙏🏻It is ESpecially, no “k” sound.

It is the only one I currently use
That Bernhardt sofa was a steal😮

Hi. Have learned so much today. Thank you. I to have stubborn dresser that I am attempting to redo.
What about the older chairs having worn cushioning inside? Do you replace the foam?
Great flips! What did you end up doing to the entryway/ sofa table! I see these in the cub all the time and pass up, because I never know what to do with them.

Loved the video and the great ways to earn some extra cash. Every little bit helps!! Great job
Yes! Thank you!
Grate haul and grate results. Loved the green lounge, but the one you kept was, or is beautiful. The pink easy chairs were a triumph as well.
Thanks so much! 😊
