My brother hung himself 40 yrs ago. The church refused to bury him and we had no service except for close family and friends. No priest would be there. Till this day I wonder why, why why why. If he knew how our mother took the news ( death by hanging) and 3 siblings left behind, " a mother that blamed herself bc she was his mother and should've known". A older brother and two younger sisters we went through hell, mom didn't talk about it and us 3 ... suffered unbearably. Dont forget siblings....💔🕊 Rest in Paradise Clyde

My grandma committed suicide over 40 yrs ago when I was 15. Thank you for telling your story. I think about her everyday. She was loved so very much. One day we will be reunited with them, and they will be whole. God bless your family. ❤
I am in crisis at the moment, bad insomnia, terrible depression, self loathing. Long unemployment period, feeling like im a bad person. I’m 49, I feel there’s no way to go now. I’m just so very tired of everything and literally tired too from lack of sleep
Hi, how are you doing at the moment? Lack of a good nights sleep is so terrible for our mental health. Everything is out of focus, and it’s difficult to make good decisions etc. It’s easier said than done, but I hope you can see that it’s the lack of sleep making you feel so terribly about yourself. I’ve been in therapy for years, both with a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist. I still don’t see a future for myself. I’m tired, I’m bankrupt, I can’t live normally and I just can’t get myself interested in anything these days. If I had cancer, would you force me to live out the rest of my days in pain or would you help me find rest?

Living with some of the most expensive medical conditions. And then having a child who genetically got them too. And you live in the 2nd worst state for getting disability. So it is better to commit suicide than to be homeless and having these medical conditions. My states disability is going to be the cause of 2 suicides. But hey, look at the money saved.

I do feel that my siblings would say; well she was certainly struggling with her depression & anxiety even though they didn’t seem to wanna really acknowledge that I’ve been struggling with it all my entire life so far! Ugh 😑 what will those siblings say if I really do give up & end my life. They’re not even in the same city. I’m totally alone here! Loving, caring, truly understanding? Nope 👎! So what the heck’s the point here?! 🤷♀️Don’t panic I’m not sending out a threatening message. Just stating the facts re: my siblings today. My dad died when I was just literally turned 13 yrs old. Mom died 1998 lung cancer. I was right by her side all the way through & that frightened me cause she looked like she was in a horror movie with how the last mins played out. Ech! My 2nd eldest sister died in May 8th, 2020. Lung disease that I can’t remember the name of but there was literally no treatment, she had 2-3 yrs left before possible suffocation would occur, but had MAID already in place to help end her life. And when I learned of her death I was all alone & crushed by it! Maybe I should have ended mine then too! Am I psychologically hurting 😞💔😭better believe it!!! Bullied all throughout my so-called school yrs too, couldn’t learn anything in the stupid way the old fashioned school system taught so lost out on any proper education! Pissed 😠 off about this? You bet I am! Then being told if I end my life for whatever reason(s) I’d not make it into Gods Kingdom cause it’s a massive sin to commit! Oh, crap!!!! I just can’t seem to win!!! Why do they call depression a mental illness ? Absolute nonsense. Depression is a symptom of an unresolved situation in life , be it due to a financial crisis etc . Once a solution is found, depression is gone
Your lack of understanding and lack of empathy is showing. Situational depression, or I'm broke and upset about it, is not the same thing as inborn clinical depression. And it's mental illness because that's where it starts. You don't get a big pimple on your nose with a sign. It doesn't show externally on the body for others to observe. Learn to read.
