I had the pleasure of seeing Orianthi with Alice Cooper a couple years ago. I think she definitely keeps up with some of the greats. I think she’s been very underrated so far in her career.

She tried it but being popular that's not what she wants from life. What she wants us to play and to write. She'd rather stay out of the spotlight and does what she actually loves to do. She's done a lot of work since. But recently she's been talking about wanting to try new things and new sounds. Hopefully that means by the time anyone reads this again they'll get to hearore cool stuff from her.

This young guitar goddess is beyond words... incredibly talented in all aspects of her craft is a huge understatement. To be THIS talented AND just smokin' sexy as smokin' sexy gets, wow. Anyone who isn't absolutely captivated by Orianthi needs their head adjusted and mailed back to them (well, maybe). I fell in love with her at first glance rippin Voodoo Child a new one. As a former rock jock, I can testify that *true* heart and soul like this is a rare and awe-inspiring thing. She'll eventually be remembered along with all the other greats like Stevie Ray, Jimi, and of course Eddie [among others]. May they all rock in peace, and may Orianthi continue to influence and crank out awesome work like this for decades to come! I had the pleasure of sharing the stage with her on Alice Cooper's "Raise the Dead" show at State Theater Minneapolis. She is a fabulous musician and entertainer! I also saw her with Dave Stewart and then again over at a Robby Krieger event with Richie Sambora. She always puts on a superb performance!
A lot of Hendrix tones and styled riffs in this. Even Hendrix vocal styles are used!! Amazingly a Zakk Wylde style wah and shredding topped it all off. No one ever really thought about that combination! Pure Genius!! Pure Epicness!!! Pure Rock 'N' Roll!!!! Well Done Orianthi. :D
it was very beautiful to be able to see the songs and the music come from her on stage..it was so unreal to watch her do all those things that you see on tv..i can't say I have seen anyone like her because I haven't ..i don't know enough about orianthi yet but i've watched her on tv for a long time and i liked what i saw ..i want to be honest and say she reminds me of the lead singer from Bell Biv Devoe..

I've noticed most musicians "style" tend to change from album to album. Not to mention personal preferences, experiences, etc which influence a musicians music changes over time. But, I do agree that over the last 4 years her music has changed drastically.
