I had to learn how to play 7-card stud when I did a production of A Streetcar Named Desire in college. So when we were in rehearsals or onstage, the four main fellas would literally just be playing poker onstage and tossing prop dollar bills back and forth. We got so into it at times that I would nearly miss my cues.
