@@justaweeb9086If you actually do some research, birthrate is on the decline globally and human population plateaus and starts to reduce overtime as most of the countries start to inch towards first world countries.
It's not the taste one should want to know about, it's is it healthy, they should be conserned about. But sadly, most people don't care about food being healthy as long as it taste good to them.
As far as 3D printing of food reducing food waste, they said the computer would reduce the use to paper, but it has done the opposite. There's always unforeseen consequences when something new comes along.

Computers have massively reduced the use of paper in business for a start. Purchase orders, order acknowledgments, invoices and account statements are routinely electronic now as are vat returns, tax returns etc.

EVERYTHING DOESN'T NEED A SHORTCUT AND TIME-SAVING.....specially when it comes to what's going to reside in our tummies for a while??? These upcoming technology based-products involve mechanical approach & do not even contain the nutrition you eat for. Even if they start the production holding the nutritious values, processing and additives to the the animal stem cells to finally taste like the real steaks and meat, will be like eating a dead organism's meat whos genetic make up was still underdeveloped.... please search for the concept of stem cells , they are good for treatment of various diseases like Arthritis and cancers....and are still under research even to be used for cure... and here they want you to eat them just for their PROFITS....and most of all , there will be more Cancers and mysterious diseases in future generations.

Only Mosa Meats in Europe claim they no longer use FBS (fetal bovine serum) which is taken from the dead fetus of a slaughtered mother cow. If the company claims they no longer harm animals to grow their meats, then ask them if they use FBS. Make them tell the truth and hold them accountable if they are lying.

What they need to do is come up with a mutli thread printer and make futuristic looking foods instead of trying to imitate food like burgers. Nobody wants to eat a fake burger, thats what real burgers are for. Instead they need to make futuristic looking dishes that are easy to print and not disgusting looking.

If this works, and they can literally create real meat from stem cells...it would eliminate the need for animals going to slaughter. What a beautiful world that will be. I read years ago that this was already being studied with the addition of testing a person's DNA to determine what the individual needs nutritionally. It is truly mind blowing!

The ingredients are common plant materials, when properly composited, provides the nutrition equivalent to that of meat. As such, I am interested in the food recipe, to not even have 3D printing but use the recipe to form patties, that can be cooked by solar cookers.
This will be a great way to feed the hungry in Africa...plant-based recipe + solar cooker.
