Nah like he says in the beginning it's the video version of a written document, which are great as ressources you can come back to as you learn over the course of weeks/months. Shorter guides focused on the important things are way better for new players, Bafael does it great
@@Murlo695 Definitely a place for long and short versions of guides, so I agree, not EVERY guide needs to be written like this, but I think any guide that claims to be comprehensive should be at this level of detail. The other thing a lot of guides could learn from this is the structure. It's easy to find things for reference, and the way it's broken down allows you easy ways to build up to a high level on your own.

I actually just made it into Master's with Aki less than a week ago. This is the perfect time for this to come out. This will help me do numbers and not get completely washed. You help make this character look like an art form and I will be treating this video with reverence for the next year.

That character specific section is a lifesaver, i still struggle to vary up my offense but knowing that my heavy safe jumps are just non-functional on some characters saves me a lot of grouchiness

Just hit Diamond with A.K.I. and have been feeling like I've hit a wall of bad habits and lack of knowledge and this has, even 20 minutes in, given me the confidence to keep pushing rather than switch to Bison and take the path of least resistance. A.K.I. is cool! Broski is the coolest!

something to note at 1:42:00 is that the fireball vs ryu's level 1 has to be slightly delayed, if its instant it will completely whiff due to ryu stepping forward during the super flash

I was just going through the guide and doing all the combos and the one at 1:19:17 2LP 2LP xx DR, 2LP 5MK 5MP xx DR, 5MK 5HK xx 2PP->K, 2LP 2LP 5LK xx 236HP drops after the 5mk. I'm not sure if there is something I'm missing since im nowhere near as good as broski but the counter resets in the guide itself too. Incredible resource of course just came across this and couldn't find a solution after like an hour of trying stuff

I´ve been in the mind of a fucking genius, this is absolutely the best guide I ever watched -I didn´t blink for a second-, the approach to the game is the most valuable info here for me.
I'm very unlikely to pickup Aki but I wish a guide like this existed for all characters. Take my like and hopefully everyone tries to copy your hard work in the future.
One thing about Venomous Fang that often flies under the radar is the insane amount of chip damage it deals. This is of course only really relevant if the chip is enough to kill as i imagine the move is still extremely unsafe on block even when hitting a burned out opponent but it's a cute little aspect of the move that i rarely see utilized. Probably for good reason but i love seeing huge chunks of chip damage so i'm biased.
I think of Aki as an offbeat tricky/trap character. She has a lot of tools to control space but not in the way a zoner does, and has a lot of mobility tools. She honestly might just be neutral character
Endless depth, super slippery, amazing burn out. She's a great character! ... I... Look, Geif kills you by hugging you twice... imma watch this while I eat my crayons.
