I think what I've realised with Honda is that they make bikes that are simple, nimble, good looking and bullet proof with of course good fuel consumption! And that's the beauty of riding!!!!
Yessir, spot on! They've definitely realized over the years that they don't have to build the highest horsepower units with the most advanced technology behind them to sell a ton of bikes.
My only non mark up dealer finally starting getting them, 300, 500 in abs. I love the red candy, I wished it came in 500 as I really want one. But first, I need to learn how to ride ejejeje.
This looks pretty nice. I like the color. I was debating Rebel 300 as my first bike and ended up going with Rebel 500 ABS SE model. Awesome bikes all around.
Oh yeah, that Candy Diesel Red is gorgeous and especially when the light hits it! Same story with your Titanium Metallic paint on your Rebel 500 SE! Two colors I think they nailed this year for sure. Congrats on snatching one up too, going with the 500 over the 300 is the right move in my opinion as that power difference (depending on the person of course) will give you a lot more time before you have the itch to bump up to something more powerful and with a lot of people, you'll never feel that "need" for more power as the 500 is pretty peppy and faster than a lot of cruisers with significantly larger engines thanks to its power to weight ratio. Stay safe out there and enjoy that Rebel bud!
100%! I know it all boils down to personal preference but this is my favorite shade of red they've thrown on the entire Rebel lineup so far. The candy in it really pops!
Besides the new color, which looks really sharp, is there anything different from the 2022? Also, are these even going to be available in the United States? I heard last year that Rebels along with Groms and a few other models for 2023 will not be shipped overseas to the United States.
No sir, nothing different at all aside from color choices when looking at the 2022 to 2023 Rebel 300 & 500 lineup ;) Honda did stop production on quite a few models last year but thankfully, things are starting to pick back up a bit. There was a time where it wasn't looking pretty though... we're not in the clear though as there are still countless problems creating issues with inventory but it's getting better, barely though lol!
You'll find that every dealership sets their prices individually and they can wildly vary from the MRSP price. You have to call up your local dealerships and ask around . These bikes are hard to find and shops use that to their advantage. Most places that I called had waiting list and deposit needed to be placed first. I got 2023 Rebel 500SE model and the price variation between dealerships was as high as $2K difference. Good luck!
