That’s so awesome Jon! I love mine and have enjoyed using it for years now! It’s such an amazing amp! Definitely looking forward to hearing what kind of tones you put on the channel with yours I know it’ll be great!
Thanks! I still pinch myself sometimes and just look at the collection to remind myself of how cool it is. I don't take it for granted. Worked hard for it though!
I’m looking forward to seeing you make some heavy tones with this thing. Everyone associates it with 80s metal and hard rock, it I know that there are some great modern tones within the beast. I love my BE100dlx, and I really enjoy your channel too. The Friedman bug is an expensive but amazing thing to be bitten by. Haha
Im 38, getting chunky and just dont see the need to own a tube amp, not with how well modelers can do now. I just revently got a headrush pedalboard and it has been an absolute game changer for me to the point I dont even look to buy much gear anymore as it can do everything I personally can ask. Love the videos though, newish sub and never miss and episode.
I have this amp. I like the gain turned up on the plexi channel and using the guitar volume to adjust the amount of dirt. From clean to dirty on the plexi channel transitions nicely into higher gain on the BE channel.
For me, this is 100% my desert island amplifier. I've had and currently have loads of amps of different flavours, but nothing is as fun and inspiring to play through as my BE-100 Deluxe. Stunning amp.
@@SonicDriveStudio Appreciate your work as well as the interaction on forums which is extremely rare. As a home player. I am saving for a mesa mini based on part of that hard work. 🙂
For this job you can't rely on one single source of income. Not with the amount of subs that I have. So stuff like affiliates and selling captures/IRs helps!
@@SonicDriveStudio I use a Modeler, so I'm relying on you to figure out which speaker, mics sound good. Happy Holidays to you and your family and friends. Thanks for another year of absolutely stellar videos, demos, and gear insights. 👏
Jon, the answer is 'yes'. End of video. (Playing through modelers and analog preamps i always end up eith modded-marshall or friedman as my go to models.... The real big boy should be endgame 😉).
And yet, we all know that they all pretty much do the same thing :-) I’m back down to a handful of really nice pieces and find it very pleasing. Less is more…? Ask Yngwie, lol
@ two Marshall a bugera two vox ss a fender ss and a dv mark I blow up oh yeah I have a boss katana 100 W head. I forgot about that thing I played it for six months sounded awesome and I got the Bogarra 5 W. I like a play in my bedroom and not blow up the rest of the house, even though it has an attenuator and it should sound OK at half a watt
I get a bit confused by your channel. On one hand you use IRs, captures and digital everything that we have heard sounds extremely identical to analog equipment, but on the other you've recently been demoing analog amps a ton. This begs the question of "Why?". Why should the modern player spend all of this money and effort on analog equipment when you yourself have proven to us that it isn't necessary?
The modern player shouldn't be doing what he is doing as a TH-cam channel and studio 😉. But a guitar player should be doing what makes him/her happy. That always gets the best sounds , trust me.
In the end, people should do whatever they want. I personal enjoy using digital and analog, plus my viewers have a wide variety of preferences. I want to be able to cater to both. There's no wrong or right
Because real amps into real cabs are the BEST. IR’s and digital stuff is mimicking what these amps are doing with original character and in real time. No Tom foolery at all with the real stuff. Having said that, digital has its place and it’s really cool too. I want a red seven amp central evo for my be100dlx so I use that stuff too. Almost every player I see talk about this that uses digital live does it because they have to and it makes more sense. If they could use real amps into real cabs without the hassle, trouble, or excess cost associated, they would. It’s not black and white. You use what makes you happy and inspires you to play/make music.
@tedmen1123 agreed! And it's ok to admit that digital and analog aren't the same. Nothing wrong with that but there's also nothing wrong with preferring one over the other. As long as it inspires!

2025 horoscope for SDS …. It’s gonna be a goooood year! so many exciting things in this channel! - HBE is gonna be nasty
See so many endgames behind you 😉 Engl, Diezel, Lichtlaerm and so on! Great collection 👍🏼

You have the dream amp collection

@ what’s your favorite amp in your collection if you have a favorite?
Congrats. Maybe the best thing about when you demo new gear is the new killer riffs you write to showcase it.
Already working on it! It's going to take some weeks though because of the holidays and I was sick. But I'm really excited!
@@SonicDriveStudio Get well soon, enjoy the holidays and we'll be patiently waiting to enjoy your creativity.
I still go back and listen to the Laney IRT Studio video just because I love the riffs.
Ah that's cool! I sold that amp but it was a good one!

I'm definitely going to do heavy tones! Some clean and crunchy stuff too but heavy rock and metal is what I love the most! :)

Have you checked out the Friedman "ir" Tube Preamp Pedals? Absolutely killer.
Now go do some squats and deadlifts. lol
Yes sir, love the IR-X and IR-D
There is never an endgame amp.

Awesome, is there any tonex pack with it coming up?😎
The search for the best electric guitar tone never ends..even when we tell ourselves we have found the best tone(s) ever.
I'm never searching for the perfect tone. There are so many tones to enjoy! I never want the search to be over because I love trying new things

Stunning amp.
It's a good desert island amp to have!
Favorite amp I've ever owned.
Awesome! It's so good!
🔥 Another Good One
Power and Standby on the back is a weird design choice though.
I guess it's a space thing
I was hoping it was the Steve Stevens model. That thing has its own sound that is awesome.
Nice, walls of amps and new iso cab. TH-cam must pay quite well, as they should for your excellent content.
Thanks! TH-cam doesn't pay well. It's all about working really hard and setting priorities
@@SonicDriveStudio Ya I've been wondering what rich person you have bound in your basement. :p TH-cam is pretty iffy when it comes to revenue.

looks sick. Some captures would be nice
I just talked to a Tech from California...it seems the Friedman, Soldano, Synergy and said few other USA amps, are made at the same facility!
Yes, they are made by Boutique Amps Distribution
nice amp... I would love to see some Slash licks on that with a LP Guitar
Capture Christmas sale?
Amazing!
Congrats! It will be interesting to hear it, and which Speakers it sounds good with in your new ISO Box.
Any speaker recommendations for this amp?

I thought this about Diezel VHX. You sure havent got one there yet? Maybe you should check your amp locker man 😁
Which load boxes are you using for your YT demos?
I have used the RedSeven Amp Central for almost everything up until now
@ thanks! Just curious have you tried the Suhr RL box?
@armandodiaz3485 I have not but I've heard good things!
Yeah right, end game amp for next fifteen minutes...
Enjoy it man!
It looks awesome!

Need to hear you play your Ibanez M8M on that Friedman BE 100 Deluxe!!! Make it happen and Congrats.
There will be an 8 string for sure!
Please buy a Friedman Butterslax🙏
Wow❤
I would like to see you plug something into it and turn it up LOUD.
Is it a fake amp or is your right arm bionic. Usually good tube amps weigh a ton
It's not light!
I thought you were in Canada Jon. What part of world are you in. That amp is huge😳🤘🏻
I'm in the Netherlands
Noice! 🎉
Unsubscribed. You've changed man.
😂. Congratulations Jon! Can't wait to hear it!
Haha! Best comment :)
not comparing but love my jcm900 2100.
Yeah, if it didn’t have the name on it, you think it was a Marshall
look at that walllllll. jesus
hey ! santa's gift yet :)
Beterschap!
Dankje!
🤤
Wizard is the endgame
I don't know much about them tbh, for that reason they haven't been on my "wish list"
A musician’s final thoughts should be of Ohio
If you say so? I've been to Ohio once and I thought it was a bit boring tbh
No, there is another.
Tonex capture now do it now come on

Space is not infinite here! I have been selling some amps to make room. I just don't make videos about when I'm selling stuff 😂
Every time one more than you have😂

Marshall knock off
And Marshall is Fender knockoff, which all start with RCA tube radios...
Bruh...go lay down.
This was shot a week ago. Luckily I feel much better now. I just had to do this :)
