    Very good video I liked the architecture the columns and archs and stained glass. I also like the way you gave the history of the places
    .you do a very good job of filming. Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching.

      sirjaunty1 Thank you, That cross is actually defaced...not that it's obvious at first glance.

    I was here about a month ago & its a shame you can no longer get into this church or the school, the school as you said in a previous comment is partly abandoned & there are now PIR cameras in the lane leading upto the school & on the school building itself + theres 24/7 security on site... Thanks for uploading as I always wanted to see inside this building, we tried getting in on my last visit but failed... If you ever want to meet up for a joint Urbex hit me up.

    You are a true artist. The doves are little musical notes. I must say that if I were in this chapel, I should never return because I get lost in a revolving door. Oh, and by the way, when I hear the aforementioned breathing, I know it's you. Don't change a thing.

      Cynthia Palmer If i'm in the area again i'll remember the jug for you, glad you appreciate these old buildings, i'm always happy to find anything without needless vandalism...or big barky dogs!
      walk in - walk out, happy days...Thanks for watching & commenting on "the video"

      Oh Thank you I do love the old ones the most! LOL My parents use to drive all over the states to look at old buildings. I'm hoping my Father comes to visit cause one of the things I really want to do with him now is watch your stuff on youtube. Hes 85 and I'm not sure I really want to try and find places but he will really enjoy your videos. Let you know what he thinks of them

    "...Watch This Space?" I certainly will! What a beautiful chapel that must have been. I particularly like the granite (?) pillars. Are the capitals made of limestone, maybe marble? (I live in an area with limestone quarries and carving.) So many beautiful, colorful images: I think 15:27-30 are my favorites. Will you possibly make a return trip to explore the belfry--if it isn't too decayed? I'd like to see the school building too--and I imagine you would also! I imagine there's a connecting hallway or doors that link the different parts of what seems to be chapel, house, and school building(/maybe dormitory).

    • @AbandonedUK
      @AbandonedUK  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew Brendan Glad you liked it. have added some more details to the basic info section on the former chapels interior original decoration. yes well spotted...a linked passage to the School. sadly the belfry is not in a good enough state to explore without ropes/harnesses/ladders etc. it looks to me like anything to do with the chapel that could be salvaged...has been removed. bells & all ;)
      no link to the chapel house though...The School is a lovely looking Gothic design...if only it were completely abandoned...but then maybe! ..keep watching...

    Hi Steve, another wonderful and awesome building, you found. I think you would point with pleasure the main building ;-)
    It's only a little idea for your filming: I think, if you get some background music in this or another videos, they will be much better. But I also like your videos without music. Stay safe. Regards Olli

      bungabungaoha Hi Olli, This was a really great day's exploring... wow what a great building to explore....i sometimes use music, more often than not...i cant always decide the right music to fit the theme/subject though.
      Thank you for watching / commenting & Stay Safe also my friend. Regards Steve.

    This is not a criticism so please don't take it as one but is there any way you can mask your heavy breathing?. I love all the places you visit, you always find the most amazing places to explore and enjoy watching.

    What a beautiful site, shame it just sits there, doesn't look all that bad to me, couldn't they do something to not let it decay to the point of no return? At least board up those gorgeous windows so Noone breaks them!

    That's too bad. It's a beautiful place. Any time I drive by a boarded up church, something makes me want to get financing to open a strip club!! Lol Just something about the crossbreeding of those two worlds excites me. Course, it's a pipe dream and I never actually be able to do it but the thought is fun!!
