Being from New Zealand and Australia, I can understand how "car boot sales" and sidewalk auctions like this can be addictive.... (my brother in England has filled his attic apparently !) Now from a "save-the-planet" perspective it's great that things get moved on, to hopefully new owners who can use them. But things like the Wood Plane (9,08sec) was literally buggered because of rust. And I'm not just talking about the actual replaceable cutting blade which could be sharpened or replaced. The supposedly flat bottom surface will be all pitted and lumpy with rust. It would need some serious restoration to repair it properly, perhaps involving a Surface Grinder. Those hand-saws shown earlier, left to become ruined with rust. I've seen some of your earlier auction find videos where you got entire wooden or cardboard boxes of tools, (many rusted already) including quite a few good tools, for between UK 2 pounds to UK 8 pounds. I guess having 10 times the NZ population density means there is just "more stuff" that finds its way to car boot sales and auctions. But have you Pommie folks, never ever heard about OILing your blimmin' tools to stop rust ! Even if you don't have a spraycan of CRC-556 or WD-40 handy, I always have some normal engine oil in a re-purposed Squirty bottle. A dribble and thin smear is all it takes. I didn't inherit my dad's Plane (if I did, it would always have been laid down on its side, NEVER face down on the ground or concrete. Never just bunged willynilly into a box of other tools). I certainly have dad's woodsaws, now over 70 years old. Been with me as I moved to Australia and lived in the Outback for almost 20 years and then later moved back to NZ again. Also you sped by it, but at 13m21sec was a box of not just any old books but looked to be a bunch of HAYNES style Acar Workshop Repair Manuals. They're absolutely vital for folks restoring old cars and many old ones not available online. EDIT... ADDED Nope they looked like Haynes but I see they're something about "Woodlands" some kind of garden design or craft books, false alarm, classic car enthusiasts, stand down !
I ain’t been to Swaffham auctions for about 22years the last time I was there Charlie had just retired nice to see it still going shame they don’t sell goats anymore
