The last time I won something from Perfect Circuit it was the chance to pay more than $100 to ship a piece of out of production DJ gear that they were giving me for free. The gear was worth less than shipping, and had nothing to do with what I entered for.
Probably because they don't want to pay import/export duty taxes for all the items and have opted to keep it local to US where they likely have free shipping avalable as a merchant
6kHz is crazy! My first SoundBlaster card only went down to 8kHz. While I'm not really a "lofi guy," I have to admit the LoFi-6 has a pretty neat vibe, and when you mixed it under the full-quality track, the sound was fantastic. What a great feel that has!

What i like about this synth... the right price. Sonicware create simple little things and ask for basically change (if we compare it to Moog or Blofiled ranges). That's very respectable nowadays. Actually i like most of Sonicware products. They sound better than the price must suggest.

So, it's like a modern Casio SK-1, yes? Since there isn't an SD card slot is there a sample export manager similar to the Volca Sample.
I love the idea behind these. But is only the promo US only, or will this thing only come out in the US? Also, can't I just bitcrush the hell out of a sample on, say, the SP-404?
Bit rushing is different to reducing the sample rate. Reducing the bit rate increases noise and reduces the accuracy of the sample. Reducing the sample rate does the stuff you saw in this - aliasing and loss of higher frequencies.

If Sonicware are in the mood to reissue modified/cutdown editions of their Livens, I have a request. Please bring out a Liven Bass (a Bass & Beats but without the rubbish PCM drums)? I would much rather have a Liven B with two wavetable voices than that corny drum machine.
I have tried to order from their website and it was impossible, just wouldn't accept my address I'm Thailand. I wrote both an email to their sales team and a message on their Facebook page but they simply ignore both. If their support team acting in a similar way I'd stay away from their products...
Got in touch with sonicware in the end, I think it's just a very small operation so their human resources are limited. I like their products concepts so giving it a go...
so done with this company. after the very misleading info on elz play getting new updates while the original wouldn't, and using fomo as a means to sell more units, now this bs? there's absolutely no reason these futures cant be included in the 12, other then to sell the same unit twice. i wanted so bad to support sonicware and watch them grow, but the way they are liyng and deceiving there own fans is awful. i legit love these little boxes and would have bought them all anyway, but this is too far. keep an eye out on reverb y'all

I placed my preorder and plan to use it to crush down samples for creating 6k hrz library music samples of various genereas from bossa nova, jazz, fusion, surf, exct. Also sent you a reply about why you were not being replied to for guest service btw if you didn't get it blame youtube and have a nice day lad
I'm having a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with sonicware sales team, first couldn't order to my country, and they wouldn't reply to any of my emails. I had to order to my friend's address in Malaysia, where these units are actually produced. Upon receiving the package but hearing from the demos how bad and uninspiring lofi-6 sounds(notice how everyone who's demoing them washing them in lots of FX) I've decided to return it, unopened still, but they're making me send it to JAPAN although I've received it domestically. Obviously they're trying to make me change my mind....I can not recommend anyone to buy their products, it just not worth the trouble frankly, go with a company that actually cares for their customers...

This easily could have be added to a firmware update for the 12. There is no extra hardware involved.
The S.Maximizer is in the latest LoFi 12 update.

Sample rate is 48 kHz, for Mark 2 and 44.1 for the 404a/sx
This item limits its rate to 6khz
