Your being annoying and belligerent. NO. There are plenty of trails out there, and rails and trails paths are not even trails, they are more like bike paths, and can take away potential passengers from the train, because they see that they don't have to take the train to just watch it. There are plenty of soil constructed biking/hiking trails out there, if there are not, make more. Lot cheaper than using expensive pavement to build a path on a railroad grade, that wont bring any income in, and will continue to cost money to maintain, just to try and strangle a form of transport that could save us from many a traffic jam, and bring potential business prosperity to those local areas. Don't get me wrong, I am an environmentalist, and I love nature to death, and trails, biking and hiking, but rails and trails make little sense to me.
