Made this tonight and it's phenomenal!!! I didn't strain the pistachio as I felt the little crumbles added a lovely texture and look to the ice-cream and I also added maybe 2 tbsp more sugar than what the recipe calls for. Overall, an amazing recipe. 👏🏽

Here in Jamaica, Pistachio ice cream is green. It as a lime green look. It is very delicious and it is my fav.

That’s due to food coloring :) pistachios are not naturally lime green haha
Pistachio pudding mix here in the US is the same...not sure why the nut is associated with green but it is🤔

Dear Laura , 2 tips for you : 1) you can cock the roast pistachio with the milk 20 min' and after that grind them {its became more paste} 2) you can whisk whole eggs and you dont need just egg yolk. by theway I very like your channel ♥
