My memories of Indy. Going to Wood tower. Also making my only trip to the Chessie/BO yard and seeing a WM black/yellow F7A. Getting kicked out of Avon yd.(couldn't help it, there was a Cornell red GP38AC in the terminal. 1 of only 4 on CR roster.) (Managed to get the shot anyway!)
I think that CSX "coke Train" was a coal train, those are 5 bay rapid discharge coal hoppers, not Coke Express hoppers, and the coke loads come from PA, coal can come from Indiana
I grew up in Indianapolis, had a rail yard across the street from where I lived. Never stopped watching trains since!
union station is such an underrated spot....the scenery is amazing and it looks pretty busy

Note, Avon yard has about the lowest employee morale of any yard within the CSX operations.
