    I've been calling it "The Blue Circle of Insanity" LOL. Thank you so much. Your presentation is so clear, logical and excellently paced so that it's easy to follow. Plus your graphics are large enough to easily see. Shame on Microsoft for not correcting this long-standing problem of several years (!) and shame on them for offering such cryptic explanations which aren't solutions.

      I'd agree if Windows 10 wasn't just outright retarded, ain't jackshit LOADING in my entire task manager it's just pure brain damage that makes my mouse cursor spazz out. Like literally it does the loading mouse icon in a pattern, it spazzes out for a second then waits about 3 seconds and spazzes out again INFINITELY, this is just my fucking life without outright deleting the icon because windows 10 can't manage their god damn shit.

    • @SkyMcProFace

      @Nick Lorgar Yeah, because one of the games you're playing makes it constantly running that same mouse service over, and over. This will solve some CPU issues

    I spent all day attempting to fix this problem, after a forced Microsoft update seemed to have caused the issue. Whatever it was, I couldn't nail it down, although I suspect, in my case, it has something to do w/ the graphics card's running service. It seems to be eating up more than its share of system resources, which could be the culprit, so I'll keep troubleshooting. Either way, your workaround worked like a charm! Thanks very much! This never would've occurred to me, and for a problem that's been cropping up since Windows 7, I'm surprised that your video isn't higher-ranked in Google's search algorithm. Anyhow, thank you, again!

    The most brilliant Windows video ever! It also applies to Windows 11. Your solution was an instant fix. My issue was even worse.
    My Lenovo T470s would have the blue circle on startup. When going to the Start button, the blue circle would hover, not allowing me to click and open. Beyond frustrating. I literally had to reboot the computer to get it to work normally...for a little while that is. You're a lifesaver!

      just wanted to thank you. I had the blue spinning randomly at boot and turns out even though device manager said nothing was wrong with the AMD Radeon display driver, just going to their website and reinstalling their software (which reinstalled the driver) fixed my issue. I agree that masking this problem with OP's "fix" is not a good idea and should look at reinstalling the video driver as one of the possible solutions. Clearly something is causing the system to spin the blue wheel and should be fixed.

      If you are running a HDD (regular hard drive) you may need to upgrade to an SSD and some more Ram for your computer. If its old then id recommend just getting a new one. If you just bought it take a look at the ram under My pc or computer settings for Windows 7 or lower. Or settings - about, for windows 10. if ram is lower than 8 you need more ram if its 8, 16, 32 then you may have a dying hard drive. if you already have an SSD and 8 gigs or high of ram then its time to back up your important files and refresh the computer.

  • @bytebit49

    This is a workaround solution, the spinning circle usually tell you that some processes working in background, I've find that in my case recently installed usb display driver was the cause for blue circle appearance every 2 second. I uninstalled it since it was not used and no more annoying circle. You can check in system tray if some of little icons constantly blinks, maybe this can point you in right direction

  • @SrgtRock
    @SrgtRock 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    Changing the icon to hide the error is like "alternative medicine" for computers and is not a solution. Don't do this because you won't know your pc has a problem and you'll wonder why your cpu only lasted a year because of overheating when you hid the viewable warning sign.
    It's most likely a corrupt video driver file. Uninstall your video drivers, reboot, go back to windows and see if you still have the problem. If not, re-install and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't then install an older driver to use until a newer one gets released.

    Brilliant. I used that fix on my car it has this annoying light on it that warns of serious engine damage.........I've removed the fuse for warning lights...I also found that the brake pads kept wearing out.....So I'm taking those off too.
