Beautiful video! You captured the experience. I crossed paths with you in Drumheller at the Museum during my own tour across Canada. Thank you for sharing!
Cool Vid. So cool to see many of the place I have seen in my travels. Had to laugh at the drone shot on the bridge with the cables. That took some guts lol
Incredible! As a 10 year, 7x cancer survivor I absolutely LOVE this! I have participated twice in the Great Cycle Challenge Canada, both times stopped by health. 2022 saw me starting my GCCC riding with a tube in my back to drain my kidney due to a 10cm mass. August 16th I had the kidney removed thus ending my GCCC ride. While lying in hospital recovering from having a kidney removed, I decided I had to do something more than just fight my cancer. I decided I was going to seriously upgrade my bike and head West from Alberta to Vancouver to the Terry Fox monument there as my goal for the GCCC 2023. I have no idea if I'll make it, but I know for certain I wont if I don't start. That is my plan at this point. Adding the START from Canmore AB, and extending the FINISH from Chilliwack to Vancouver brings it to 1525km. Not as EPIC as the whole country, but EPIC for me! Your film really helps inspire and encourage me. Thank You so much! It's beautiful!
Hi Richard, Thank-you for your message, and congratulations for your previous GCCC participations, especially through your condition. Obviously, you are an inspiration for all, fighting the illness in that way by never giving up on your projects, year by year. I wish you to get full recovered and to enjoy your next participation to the GCCC.
Wow, very nice 8600km in a 100 days is doable. Thinking of heading to Vancouver from Toronto, and cheat between Winnipeg, Saskatchewan and Calgary with VIA Rail:)
Thomas! This is Barry - from N2L_XCanada - we met face to face in Nova Scotia! I finally have had the chance to watch your beautiful film!!! It was so wonderful and I'm so happy for you to have raised the funds you did! You have crafted a beautiful piece here that captures the country, your ride and the inspiration! I hope you are adjusting to non-touring life - it has been difficult for us - but we are dreaming of our next adventure - I hope you are too!! Take care and wishing you tailwinds, always!
Hello Barry! How could I forget our meeting !? What an epic moment.. We recognized each other 150 feet away! I’m pleased you watched the video :) Again thank-you for your support against cancer, and your encouragements. Post touring life adjustment is quite easy, I’m happy to enjoy full confort now.. But I need to pay attention what I eat now ! 😅 Nevertheless, I miss this full and pure liberty that only touring life can provide.. I wish you and all N2L team members to keep health and enthusiasm for touring again & again :) I want to follow your next adventure! We stay in touch ;) *PS, if you come in France, contact me. It will be my pleasure to host you if you pass by.
@@Ventdansledos I know how you feel - food is a thing to be more careful about now! HA! I will certainly connect with you if close to Paris, Thomas! I would love to see a city I love so much through your eyes!! If in Canada again (please allow us the same opportunity with you) ... or Italy! We have a family home we have just redone there too! All the best Thomas! - Barry
Fantastic and congratulations on this trip.
