One of the best bike vs car vids ive seen,most these vids look fake but i think this was very real. The 600rr got a good launch and was winning up to a point but then got spanked.The beamer was very impresive but still got beat by the litre bikes, just.Ive got an R6 and would be guted if i got passed by a car.Well done to the beamer......
@MrFLYEPITOME wait isn't brake boosting mostly for automatics launching from a stop? i guess you could brake boost in 4th gear, but doesn't seem too easy.
@atoam really? it didn't seem like he was losing much traction, seemed more like a turbo lag issue to me, so maybe $900 for stickier tires AND another $1000 or so on a nitrous kit to help the engine get into boost faster. Weren't those races starting in 3rd gear? Maybe it was traction loss, but it seemed like lag. It could maybe use better tuning and some method of reducing turbo lag.
How was the 600cc able to stay ahead as long as it did and the liter bikes could barely stay just in front of the m3? Put better liter bikers on them and they will make the car look a bit slower. Quite impressive car though.

He is racing and keeping up with "stock" liter bikes. The M3 is actually fairly far behind in terms of money spent to acceleration achieved.
@Alphabuck Nice intelligent post... I lied. GTR and Porsche turbo (with the exception of the GT2) are AWD cars.... I don't even need to delve further into why the have an advantage over an M3 on street tires.. But yes, the DSG trans sucks.

Half the time he was racing those bikes he was spinning tires. With that amount of HP and RWD you need a good tire set up. Which most HPF owners don't realize. The HP has exceeded the limit of the tire.
They do not do 9.6 in the 1/4 factory stock. Dream on. Modified tied down extended swing arm small rider yeah. Or in high altitude and use correction factors like magazines do.

if the genius driving the HPF M3 would have spent $900 (out of the $30k he spent on the turbo) getting some stickier wider tires, instead of using stock 255 width, he would have had much more traction and would have been ahead of ALL the bikes he raced, even with 3 tabouli eating passengers!!
actually there's a vid on here of a Yamaha r1 demolishing the 2012 Nissan skyline gtr and the Yamaha r1 on this vid did not really try and i suspect because he did not really have the correct gear
@IR0BI haha my family drag races, pulls cars, and drive tractor trailers. Your not gonna tell me we dont know how to drive. My uncle dragster did 6.65 in the 1/4 mile. The women in our family drive tow trucks to pick up groceries. Don't pretend to tell us how to shift. Its one thing to let the bike drive off and then punch the gas. He just cant shift worth a shit. My dad was walking buy and heard the video and yelled "he needs to work on his shifting."
