MAD! Got one of these for 35 or 46AUD the other week with some motors a Tricopter thats slowly forming on my wall.... Looked around at the time but ni review that I could find.... Figured AKK were a known quantity so should do the job even if it doesn't get run at full strength... Haven't watched yet, just wanted to say thanks- especially as it'll be a while before mine gets used! :v
I have the 2000mW dominator. Its beastly. Use the switchable power output on the Matek wing controllers to have an on/off switch so you can wait until you've got some airflow moving over it before powering up :) Or use the adjustment tabs to have adjustable power output assigned to a switch. From memory there is a way to configure smart audio to show accurate power outputs. As far as the flight controller is concerned, it's just power levels 1 through 4.
Unfortunately, it is not a product worth buying. It creates a lot of noise in the image and this is not due to motors or esc noise. Additionally, it does not lock itself to the frequency you set, so sometimes the image may become black and white. I recommend tbs unify pro32 hv.
Hi I want to use my Webcam to be my FPV camera It has same 4 Wire Red-White-Green-Black Can I directly connect it to the AKK Race Ranger? Should I rearrange the wire order?

Why do AKK supply their plugs with such damn short leads?? For the sake another 10cm and $0.05 cents worth of wire - it sure would make life a whole lot easier.
are you going to be doing a range test? i recently ordered a 1600mw unit by a different manufacturer and interested to see how they perform range wise :)

@@AndrewNewton Wont have a flight controller. Just for some fpv fun installed on rc car. Can I power the VTX from a 3s battery main cable then power the fpv camera from the VTX. One power source. This way all I need is the cables that comes × with camera and VTX, correct?
@@FullPayGaming Correct. The red plug on the VTx is a 2 pin JST, connect your battery to that. Solder 5v out from the VTx to the camera Vin or + (red). Solder the ground wires together (Black). Solder the Video out from the camera to the Video In on the VTx (usually yellow or white)

Bummer- Somehow I thought the 5v output more than 500ma...

It's possible but don't trust the wire colours. You would need to have a wiring diagram for the camera cable to make sure

5V and G are OK but the others are probably Data+ and Data- You will have to experiment to see which one is Video signal.

If its cause of not wanting to fly out of los you could just have a friend with a 5.8 reciever do the range test while u fly los
Why can't I see anything in theosd? The signal arrives and even on the radio the vtx is read but nothing in the goggles
