    As both a singer and a percussionist, I think that what you've done with this is really cool. I'd like to see more arrangements like this. Nice job!

      Thanks! Probably the only time that it actually fits with the song and doesn't seem like a gimmick. Not sure if I will ever use that effect on another video. LOL! I guess we'll see. I'm glad you dig the channel!

    Wow this feels so good. But can you guys clarify to me some things? So, how are you able to prevent a note from blending in with the next one on the vibraphone/glockenspiel? Whats the name of the instrument that looks like a bowl? Are all 4 included Marimba, xylophone, vibraphone and glockenspiel? What's the difference between each one?

    • @ThePercussionRealm
      @ThePercussionRealm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The vibraphone has a pedal similar to a piano so you can choose when to muffle the pitches. The Glockenspiel doesn't have that so you either have to muffle with your hands or with a mallet but the Decay rate on the glockenspiel is a bit shorter than the vibraphone so it's usually not needed. Thanks for checking out the video!

    • @raquelvasquez5152
      @raquelvasquez5152 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ThePercussionRealm Makes much more sense. Thanks. I also realized that there are 2 types of mallets if I'm not mistaken. One that seems thick and soft and one that's hard. What's the difference on that?

    • @ThePercussionRealm
      @ThePercussionRealm  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@raquelvasquez5152 The softer the mallet, the less "attack" you hear. Soft mallets have less "attack" and sound better when rolling or playing soft dynamics. Most mallet companies have sets of mallets that have 2-6 different pairs that range from very hard to very soft with everything in between.

    I think a different approach to the thumbnail will help in getting more views.
    Regardless of how valuable and beautiful music is since everything is just treated equally and available at our fingertips people often rely on their judgement on outward appearance on judging how worthwhile clicking on a video be.

    Super version bravo! auriez vous le conducteur ou les partitions?

    • @ThePercussionRealm
      @ThePercussionRealm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Malheureusement non. J'ai acheté un arrangement pour piano et je l'ai utilisé comme guide. J'ai décidé quels instruments seraient pour le vibraphone, le marimba, le steel drum, etc. mais je n'ai jamais noté mon arrangement. Je joue aussi de la guitare et j'utilise la tablature de guitare comme source pour certaines chansons. Je devrais peut-être écrire mes arrangements. Merci pour ton intérêt!
