Damn straight. I'm one of those people who didn't care that much about drums because of a raging ignorance of what they can really do. EL ESTEPARIO SIBERIANO has given me one heck of an education and I will be eternally grateful for it.
Anyone that has tried recording can appreciate your comment, with that said, drums do sound dullish. Also overplayed, I guess if you have superhuman skills it’s easy to do. I personally would have liked more of a funky cover and not a metal one to this wonderful song. Este tipo es una bestia! 💪🏼

People need to understand just how fahkin sick this is. The cymbal sound choices, the tuning of the drums, the heavy kick drum, the mics used, the overall mix and the execution of this is next level.
Never in my over 30 yrs of my on/off playing have I heard of this incredible drummer of this caliber. He simply takes elements and inspiration from drum greats, of Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Dennis Chambers, Billy Cobham, Ringo Starr, Steve Gadd, Tony Williams, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta (sp?), John Bonham, Joe Morello, etc. all wrapped up in one man. Wow!

It's mesmerizing seeing the fluidity he has in his playing. If ya watch where he's hitting the drum heads, he ain't just beating the piss out the kit either. Dudes mamma jamming acc-u-rah-tey, eh? It's always so satisfying to see someone that just transcends the medium of a art form. And dat double bass is so dang mechanically perfect! Just, where humanity COULD go if we just focused on sharing these masteries and reveling in the wide availability of observing the masters of their chosen skills. I mean, imagine if you could have shown someone how a milling machine was meant to operate properly, with audio and video of chatter and the techniques to resolve the issue. With accompanied video and audio with specific breakdowns of how this concept works. And my boy be using Neve preamps. Thems some beautiful preamps, sooooooo good to hear them too

Your head gets to rocking up and down with the beat and every now and then you quickly tip your head sideways twice! You just get lost in the rhythm and your head movements are spontaneous! @@amatoyotogi2164 ghost notes are notes with no rhythmic value, so those super fast fills he plays with the crazy varied dynamics have a bunch of ghost notes, he's playing them in such quick succession they no longer hold any rhythmic value, meaning you could add it to a single bar drum fill and the fill would still be 1 bar

To me he is one of the best in the world. Why? because ppl like thomas lang (to me!) lost themselves in overcomplicated beats and stuff. One might find beauty in beats where you play 15/23 against 7/4 but siberiano simply makes every song and every beat sound epic without doing very difficult stuff that sounds easy- he rather plays "easy" stuff in a way that it sounds incredible. @@careluisillo
The amount of work, sweat, time, and stamina this man has put into his drums is terrifying. You never, NEVER see him come anywhere close to red lining no matter how hard or fast or complex the song he plays is.

Sat down to a drum set 65 years ago after 15 minutes found out was way too complicated for my brain so picked up a set of bongos and still enjoying playing bongos here in Costa Rica today. 🌴😎🌴

I'm just replaying these last recordings you have done. Unreal sound quality and mastering while also being SPOT on with your drumming. A few months ago you was maybe 0.01 sec off sometimes with a snare or kick, but now it's pretty much all on point. I love it . Just waiting for more videos now. My ears are in heaven.
Same, and Google pulled up the original cover from 2yrs ago first, but then I saw the thumbnail recommended for this one and had to see what was different. My ear is probably too uneducated to distinguish the sound quality levels you mention, but both are great!

The amount of work, sweat, time, and stamina this man has put into his drums is terrifying. You never, NEVER see him come anywhere close to red lining no matter how hard or fast or complex the song he plays is.

@Mari000 -I did not hear any forced beats being squeezed in to hit on 1, is my point. He chooses to use as many of the note fractions as possible, so long as he's in time, and most importantly, in the groove as well. 🤘

in my opinion it's one of his best covers so far. I like the changes from less drumming to intens drumming and back. Especially those fast triple (or more?) base beats are sick. Never heard that before

I'm just replaying these last recordings you have done. Unreal sound quality and mastering while also being SPOT on with your drumming. A few months ago you was maybe 0.01 sec off sometimes with a snare or kick, but now it's pretty much all on point. I love it . Just waiting for more videos now. My ears are in heaven.

You are incredible mate. Aside from your unreal technical ability, you bring a happiness across that is infectious. I saw your video on mental health and have never seen someone explain that as well as you have. I wish you would do a cover of Yazoo - Don't Go. It was my brother Stryder's favorite song. He passed on NYE some years ago, got hit by a car. I've never been the same since, but I carry him with me everyday. You help a lot of people with what you are doing.
Actually that was the original drumming the band recorded before the record company made a few suggestions.
