I think James Bond would be carrying Pro-Tech Magic Whiskers. It kind of has that spy gadget vibe with the "secret" opening method.
Grats to Zach, he's gives so much to the knife community, well deserved.
So wild! Thanks S Dude! #DSKFS
My go to for formal occasions is an Al Mar Falcon in black micarta. Uber classy and not intimidating to pull out of your pocket at a formal event. My fave Bond is Sean Connery, so I see him in the older movies carrying a vintage 2PW Paul knife, the original one-hand opener. I have a first generation from 1971, and that opener must have blown peoples minds at the time!
Awesome content as usual my brothers! Very nice work!!!! Have you guys gone over each of your top 3 favorite knives of all time!? That would be cool! Also- where's Erik! Bring him in for an episode! 🥰
I love the idea! I'll see if I can drag erik out of the custom shop!
Today is a simple carry. A TRM Atom in gcarta with a Tactile Knife Co Bextar in the 5th pocket. Also a black cerakoted lynch aap.
You didn't ask but im saying it anyways. For wedding carry I've been using my Giantmouse GM7 or my monterey bay knives slayback in carbon fiber.
Microtech I agree more side autos.
Great choices all around my friend!
What I carried today? Most of the day at work was an Olight S1, Jake Hoback Kwaiback and a Gerber Impromptu pen. After work switched up to a Hoback Enoch, Inova XO (I think that's the model) and a Machine Era Classic in Stainless. Now here's were I pick on you a bit with some blame. When the Hoback Radford came out I decided to try one so I bought one from you after you posted it on your IG account. Since then I've become kind of a collector of Hoback knives and have many now. It's your fault. LOL! As for Bond's knife, or anyone like that I always thought a Sebenza would work because it could be classy in a way but also do real work. I know I've put mine through it's paces in the woods, on the range and just EDC. You mentioned other popular movie protagonists like John Wick. We already saw at least one of his is a Microtech Combat Troodon but really all he needs is a pencil. I need to make another road trip and visit the shop. I always enjoy stopping in. I'm a an hour or so East of the shop.
We'd love it if you stopped in again! John Wick is for sure on the short list for protagonists!
The mnandi hands down for wedding carry. Had one on me for my brother's wedding and a friend's wedding last year. Sharp, classy, high end, non threatening
Totally agree
Today I carried my large Adamas in cruwear and my m4 smock with ti scales. I like the zaan for James Bond too, it can withstand a variety of environments and uses.
It's unstoppable, just like that Adamas!
Another awesome episode!!!! Keep up the great work and see you in the next video!!!!!
You rock, Henry!
I'm thinking a Tracker Dan Bloodshark for Bond. You can carry it in the sheath in any clothing completely concealed while having fixed blade capability. And they're tough too
I love it
I'd love to see a manual Microtech Stitch
Totally badass
I'm carrying a pm2 dlc tanto with red micarta scales from rgt
That's a great setup!
Wedding carry out of my current lineup would probably be my mordax. Grey aluminum scales. I honestly think a nice otf would be cool too
The Mordax is perfect for that!
Also thanks for the shoutout! I'd also like to see some out the side knives from Microtech. But manual openers. I miss the days of seeing MT Whalesharks and DOCs in stock on websites
You're the homie! Me too, Zach, me too.
I could not see 007 carrying anything other than a Fairbairn-Sykes Dagger.
Historically accurate as well
I want to see you each pick a knife and do some sort of wood carving challenge
We're on it!
Carrying a Medford der hund…love this knife 🔪
Great carry choice
Hey guys! I would like see Microtech come out with a manual Stitch. In the pocket today: purple Baby Banter.
Great choices!
the benchmade 9170 auto fact would be a great 007 knife. Microtech needs to expand the blade steels in their knives. What knife do you leave in your vehicle? (for emergencies/roadside repairs)
I'll save the answer to that question for the next episode!
I was just in Vegas and I stopped at PVK Vegas and they had post malones picture in there cuz he got his microtechs there! Super cool
Finally Friday! Carrying my Bass Pro Bugout (love the orange blade) and if I have to class things up I usually end up carrying a Boker+ Bonfire. It's a little on the large side but the classic lines and micarta paired with a sleek frame does really well in dress pants. Speaking of micarta, while I wait for some G-Carta to come in so I can make some scales... I'd be curious to hear about some of the customization options out there for the folks that like to do things themselves. Things like Lynch clips, AWT/Fireside/Flytanium scales and the like. Seems like there's a ton of options out there but clips and scales are sort of where my knowledge ends. As far as action hero knives go... What about Jason Bourne?? Would he even bother with a knife or would he just go with a nice tactical pen for his stabby needs like in The Bourne Identity 😂Big thanks to Evan, Evans hair, Riley and Everett for another great video!!
You're the best, BC! See you in the next one!
Carrying my Spyderco Military (new work knife). I want to make a fixed blade version of their Stitch. And make the Socom Delta again.
As far as Bond's folding knife, it would depend on the scenario. I would think he would have more custom like knives or high end production. Rockstead, W. HENRY, LG Sebenza, etc.
And on my wedding day I had a Dragonfly 2 in my pocket :) We eloped on the beach.
He would for sure be rocking a high end something or other!
So glad this episode happened 🤣🙌🏻
You rock, Jake!
A sheepsfoot Bugout would be dope
Wouldn't it??
I could see James Bond carrying a Very Axon framelock.
Very classy, my friend!
@@riversedgecutlery4260 I think Joseph Vero could actually be James Bond lol
Bond would carry a Rockstead. Or a G&G Hawk Deadlock.
Both badass choices!
I think of James Bond as the gentleman first spy second. He would be rocking the CRK Mnandi and the pro-tech tr-3 x1 full black out. Side note: since I'm at home watching this, I'm fidgeting with the kizer cormorant, and I dyed the white accents to a dark green. Love these videos! Let me know if you guys ship to Japan so I can put in some orders!
We don't have the capability yet but we're working on it!
best idea is a safty knife with glas breaker and a hand guard rail for finger safty and as knockel duster without for each finger and a carbon safty for the knife tip down to the hand grip
I could see bind with a socp. Carrying the MBK OG today
I can totally see that!
I have my bugout in the pocket today!!! A birthday gift from my daughter!!!!!
I have only been to a few weddings. I can't remember for certain what I carried. If I were to go to a wedding now I would carry my HEAdesigns Hunter. I think a Protech Strider PT or SNG with a harpoon blade would be sick. I was going to say the RMJ Sparrow and CRK Sebenza. As for Character I can't decide. Carried my 20cv g10 sheepsfoot Griptilian today. I would like to see more original manual knives from Microtech.
All great choices, Jade! Thank you!
Am carrying a Real steel Rokot that Levon from knife nuts help me get and a WE Banter
Levon is the MAN!
Another really cool idea would be to have a segment where you pick a commenter or insta user to join the show for a few mins (virtual) and show their favorite knives! I volunteer to go first 🙋♂️🙋♂️😄
Great video as usual. Thanks!! I feel like I could see Bond carrying a Shiro in his suit.
I’d love to see Microtech make a manual version of their Stitch. Love my auto, but really want a manual too. Maybe bring back the Whaleshark too
I’ve used the boker kwaiken for a wedding because it’s classy looking and not so menacing looking!!!!
Non-threatening is the name of the game for wedding carry!
I’d really like to see more ambidextrous ball locks coming from spyderco especially like to see it added to the yojumbo….. on another note as far as the sheep’s foot / wharncliffe style blades I’m really digging on the looks of the civivi hadros just a little small for me if they come out with an xl with a little upgrade in steel maybe nitro v or s35vn you know the stuff we is already using I’ll pick one up
I would love to see that lock in other knives!
Flipper bugout would be dope.
They need to revive their flipper line for sure
Definitely thinking Umnanzaan was right choice for Bond, and I would love to see more manual Socoms, and possibly a manual Stitch from Microtech. Thanks guys keep up the great work.💥👊💥
Ohh and my wedding knife is the McBee it's a super small and classy frame lock, I also got one of the McNees clips, and a Combat Beads Concealed bead on mine. Small, classy, and with the add ONS pretty fancy
Perfect choices, thanks Frankie!
Congrats to Zach! If we are thinking about fictional characters EDC what do you think the Big Lebowski would carry?
I love it!
I'm carrying a Rockstead Chi, and I'm thinking James Bond would carry a CRK Mnandi because it's more of a gentlemen knife. And I'd like to see spyderco make a sheepsfoot shaman in vanax.
Vanax Shaman would be legit!
I think James Bond would carry something like a ZT 0450 or maybe a modern traditional like the lionsteel best man. I think there have been a lot of cool spydie chef harpoon regrinds and the rest of the knife is so cool I think another blade shape would be awesome.
I think it would be cool if microtech would do a button lock socom of ludt.
That would be iconic
The last time I went to a wedding I had a milled pattern CRKT Swindle.
Guys, Bond would have a Shiro. Backup will be a tac spike from the suit seam. Probably has a laser activated by the pocket clip. Really liked the Manix and the Shaman shown. I agree with below comments, a manual stitch. More large (4.5-5") folders please. Pocket carry today is CS Recon1.
Sporting a v2 holt specter. I think Bond would carry a protech as well. I don't care for protechs but I don't like Walther either. Bond never has "the best" of anything but a push button auto would fit the Bond vibe perfectly
Thanks, Cody!
Current pocket dump is Axon liner lock and the 🐐
Haha got a shout out! Everett smile just made my day!!
I need Everett's help, should I get a Protech Newport or guardian tactical gtx025
Everett says Newport!
Bond would definitely carry a crk... Spiderman seems like a crkt guy, gotta remeber hes a highschool kid and avengers arent getting a paycheck
That's a good point, maybe a Kersahw or a CRKT?
5:06 yeah, that reverse tanto reground CRK that Jon did started as an insingo. I asked the guy that has it a little bit ago cause I was curious haha.
Thanks Tristan!
Wow a lot of questions! Great y'all made fun of it at the end.
Wedding knife is sleek, light and fancy. Maybe a REC custom :)
007 would have Lone Wolf Diablo
I would like to see more of your custom jobs and the cost. Almost bought one but backed out to pick my own style.
Carrying the TRM DLC Atom CF and a SAK Bantam in a custom slip.
Congrats Zach!!! The Daily Carry Crew is celebrating #DSKFS
Lots of questions today, thanks Scooter!
Thanks for some more cool answers and some great ideas! Loving the show and hoping I can get a custom shop knife from y’all at some point!
We can make that happen!
In Spectre he uses a Gerber 06 Auto.
That's a badass choice!
i got a feeling Everett is sitting on some heat, can we get a collection vid?...i can see bond carrying a rockstead
He's got a lean, mean collection!
I’d like to see a titanium shaman drop. Different blade shape would be for the smock maybe a warncliffe. Protech for nice knife carry. 007 would carry a godson
A shaman wharn...
as much of a Spyderco fan and thumb holes in general I think dude in the middle is right, leave the thumb stud on the bugout, the ratios are all perfect on it now not need to try and make it be an EVERYTHING bagel knife, they can just make a new model with a thumbhole if there is a need ( there isn't)
micarta Bugout tho YES PLEASE
right??
Next Up: What knife would MacGyver carry?
He would make one out of a gum wrapper
I wouldn't know who manufactures, but I assume JB would be carry a throwing knife.
I can see that!
@@riversedgecutlery4260 I'm basing that on Goldeneye N64 gameplay!
Can we please get a Spyderco Para 3 Wharncliff!
It would be so cool!
007 would carry something lowkey like a SAK. My favorite basketball player is Marcus Smart. Had a bagel for breakfast.
Thank you for answering EVERY question, my friend!
How about a Benchmade Autofact for James Bond.
Ohhh I dig that choice!
Oh and as far as my pocket dump: Giant Mouse Ace Grand, Junghan Max Bill Watch, Lochby waxed canvas notebook wallet, copper keybar
I love the Max Bill!
God father wow!! That's where my mind went right away.
The perfect choice
When you guys mention the UDT and LUDT, it's actually "Demolition" not "Dive"
Thank you, Luke!
Reverse Tanto Sebbie - that would be awesome!
Even my crappy photoshop job made it look cool!
Spyderco police 4 k390 in pocket
I love that thing!
James bond would carry a Mcusta Tactility Elite, desert ironwood.
I carried a boker barlow at my wedding
I carry the k390 endura with titanium scales bij flytanium love that knife voor work.
All great choices, my friend!
Zt 0640 for Mr Bond
Good choice!
I think James Bond would carry the Benchmade 4170BK. It'll carry well in a tux or suit and fits the 007 look. 🤙
Great choice!
James Bond would carry a James Brand knife specifically The Barnes
Also I think there's a gentlemens agreement between Benchmade and Spyderco where they each have a knife that resembles something the other makes. For Spyderco its the Manix2 and for Benchmade its the sheepsfoot griptillian. So I don;t think Benchmade can or would want to add a "spydie"hole to the bugout.
I'll go with Hale Ceasar from The Expendables let's replace his straight razor with Red Horse Knife Works Hell Razor folder and/or fixed blade
Would "Red Mist" from Kickass carry a Red E knife?
I love the Expendables idea!
REC mugs for ☕ coffee or bourbon 🤔 LOL 😆 🤣
For anything you want!
Grimsmo Rask for a nice wedding carry.
😍
@@riversedgecutlery4260 It's the ultimate fancy cake knife. 🤣
10000% bring back the Microtech LCC.
Heck yes!
Does anyone know what's up with the lack of Microtech Socoms?
Benchmade Deja Vu
Good choice, Ken!
Ive been edc'ing my all ti field duty by liong mah designs. great knife plus it looks extra sexy from the REC anodization job!!!!!!
Shoutout Mike!
Carrying a Bailout at the moment
Never a bad choice!
@@riversedgecutlery4260 For sure! Bought it from you guys lol
Just got married this past weekend 9-18-21 and carried a Chris reeves sebenza 31
Congratulations! That's the perfect carry for the occasion!
I think Bond would carry the Protech SnG Operator series
But also a CRKT CEOfor the hidden looks like a pen feature
Great choice
Carrying Sheepdog XL lol jus for the o shit factor at work
That's the perfect weekend work carry
Homemade 50bmg handgun with 2 inch barrel 😋. 😆🤣😂
The fireball that would produce...
@@riversedgecutlery4260 lol I sure would not fire it
I'd bring a Case🍺
We'd bring the knives!
newport tuxedo
That's perfect on so many levels
James bond carries a Shamwari.
xD GG @Zach's Stuff !!
A great dude
@@riversedgecutlery4260 Totally, discovered his channel pretty recently, good find :)
Dudes 007 Shirogorov duh
I tend to agree
James Bond would carry an M-Tech.
Andrew... no
Clint Eastwood
We're on it!
FACT
Great choice for bond
Bond would carry an Ashley Harrison
I had to look that up, that's a classy carry!
If you can stock them, I’ll be your first customer!
No no no , not CRK for him, NO
What’s it gonna be?

😎
@@riversedgecutlery4260 it's the greatest honor of my life!
